    Get a Boston Terrier. They're the best dogs. Smart, energetic, and just so darn cute. But, with any breed, check out rescues. We got Charlie from a local Boston Terrier rescue and he turned out fine.(And a whooooole lot cheaper than getting him from a breeder)

    Here's Charlie. Yes, he's bigger than they usually are but they range from 15 to 35 pounds.
