Books A/V Dooku: Jedi Lost, a stand-alone original audio drama

Will this be getting a physical Audio CD release or is it going to be digital download only?

 

Believe this one is download only but I'm sure DI'll confirm, if he hasn't already - think it might be covered in one of the earlier posts.

 

Oh thank goodness...Espeically since I ONLY Download my Big Finish collection.

 

Wonder if Thame Cerulian will be in this, or if Dooku will simply be directly apprenticed to Yoda.

 

From looking at Dooku's Wook article, new-canon seems to have directly confirmed Yoda as Dooku's Padawan. Way back when, I remember reading rumours online that Lucas himself had changed his mind about that after Ep. II and had asked the EU to retcon it... anyone else remember those rumours?

 

A bit sad to see this, would have been really nice if this was an actual book. I've been hoping for a Dooku novel for nearly a decade.

 

While I generally prefer to think Yoda hasn't taken a one-on-one apprentice for at least a few centuries before the time of the films (Between council meetings and training Younglings his time is probably already strained),

TCW heavily implied Dooku was Yoda's Padawan learner, especially in the season 6 force ghost arc. Ki-Adi Mundi even states his belief that Dooku could exploit his relationship with his former Master to attack him psychologically. (Sidious does this very thing at the end of the arc).
Then there is the fact that *vision* Dooku recalls seeing Yoda take on a Ternetatek on Kashyyyk, and I further reinforces the idea that theirs was a normal Master-Padawan relationship.

 

Also, a full cast audio production of 5-7 hours for £16.88 - at Audible / Amazon UK - is quite the price!

 

If you buy the thing by itself on Amazon what exactly do you get? I imagine Audible has app infrastructure for subscribers to use but otherwise is it just an mp3 file or something? Ideally I think I'd want to get this through iTunes since my phone will be my main way of listening, but as long as I can import it there ultimately that's enough.

 

I believe that Amazon will send you straight to Audible. Audible is the audio branch of Amazon just like Kindle is the visual digital medium.

 

Well, it's first time I've used Audible, haven't signed up, so I can give you an answer in about 30 days.

It's only a matter of time before a fan will turn this into a comic or pieces into an animated fanfilm or something. Or Disney makes an official version as a comic.

Since Sifo-Dyas is in this, I think there's a good chance the Pykes will feature. Dooku needs to plot with them to capture Sifo-Dyas after all.

 

So, Audible cancelled my pre-order.



Feeling quite hacked off by this - why even bother listing all those options when the one I try because all the others I don't know will work axes the damn preorder?

Why wasn't it as simple as 'buy this MP3' ?

EDIT: Realised Google Play is now an option - for me, it wasn't two weeks ago and it's £15 - cheaper, so will go that route.
