IIRC, the icons will only lasts through the game. Maybe a little longer, but not much.

 

Yeah, just for the game. Winning icon might stay on for an extra day or two, though.

I can't believe that a Tressel coached team like this could seem so unprepared, especially with what was on the line. Oh well.

 

It really reminded me of a Cooper-era Michigan game, to be honest.

But, hey, everyone gets an off-night/bad game every now and then, right?

Florida basically pulled a Waiter on us last night. "Here you are, sir, your collective ass, well done. Would you like to see the dessert menu?"

So who thinks we'll even be in the top 20 with all we lose and how they played? Not I.

 

That's a bit of a harsh reaction. Anyone who reads more into this than "Ohio State was off their game, and Florida was perfectly on theirs" is fooling themselves.

Florida is not 27 points better than Ohio State. It took a game where just about everything went wrong for Ohio State and just about everything went right for Florida. Not saying Florida is undeserving (because they are ... they beat #1, they are #1), just saying it's not an exposing of Ohio State as being that much worse than Florida.

I'll be shocked to see Ohio State lower than second. Let's not forget, this was their first and only loss of the season. I imagine it will be

1. Florida
2. Ohio State
3. Boise State

 

Oh, sorry... should have been more specific... I meant for next season. With everything we lose, there's no way they rank us going into the season in the top 10, and I'd honestly be surprised if they give the younger guys enough respect to rank them in the top 20.

Yeah, for this season, AP has them ranked #2 in the final behind, of course, Florida.

 

It was an impressive performance by Florida and they earned the win.

I'm sure they, and their fans will show their true sportsmanship in their win.

And then the Bucks lose to Wisconsin last night.

Not a great week for a Bucks fan, so far.

Add Anthony 'Gonzo' Gonzalez to the list of players we lose this year, since he's now declared himself for the NFL. Can't blame him, kid will make a great addition to a team out there. But we are seriously going to miss him here.

 

no doubt, this will be a team built on defense and special teams next year. which is fine by me ... that's more like Tressell Ball.

 

True, but we need to have some kind of offense to make it, too. And it's not looking real good for us right now, with the exception of the remaining offensive standouts.

Has Ted made any indication of his intentions? I've been so absorbed at work I hadn't heard anything on him yet.

 

Ginn and Pittman haven't announced anything just yet, but I'd guess both will be gone.

As to some offense ... well, we still have Robiskie at WR, and Beanie Wells at RB, and a couple of puff games to help the new quarterback and line gel.

 

Okay. Wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything, although like you said, I'd expect they'll also be departing for the pros.

We also have Hall at WR, but the QB and O-Line are going to be the concern going into the season.

 

I'd definitely be surprised if Ginn comes back, but we'll see. He might surprise people and stay, theres usually at least one of those every year.
