    Yup
More appearances as a Doctor the McGann and hes not considered a Doc.

Its a bit like Casino royale and Never Say Never again. Both Bond movies, but not in the list of 20

Paul McGann i thought was really good, and i actually liked the movie. it gives hope for when teh doctor reaches the end of his Regeneration scenes that theyll figure a way to get around it.. Because the master used all his Generations... hence the reason behind the Movie, the doctor was dilivering the ramins of the master to gallifrey....

    --

If i woke up tommorow and heard the news " Whedon to write Dr Who episode" i think i would honestly flip, more so than when i heard Gatiss was to write an episode.

Also, about Brennant, i think he would make a good doctor. Just looking at pictures of his seems for some reason to give me hope ( and he's a fan) ,.however, teh BBC have all teh time in the world to decide the next doctor.... why so urgent to pic a new doctor here and now? its pointless.

My favs for teh doctor role:

Mark Gatiss ( although he has said when hes a few years older he would like to)

Antony Stuwart head - excellent choice ( his character "ripper" Giles had much range to it... he would make a perfeect doctor)

Ill think of more later

Tom Baker went on to have a role in Monarch of the Glen and he's also lent his voice to several games and tv series.

well, did you see ecclestone's face when johnathan ross handed him that action figure??? you could see it freaked him out a bit- i would personally love my own action figure!! (almost as much as being the doctor!

    My review for Episode II:

That was really in teh spirit of the old Doctor who stories. Now that the First episode Is out of teh way, now its time for the good stuff ( althought i loved the first episode)

. Obviously its time to move forward with DrWho and this was excellent. such a good episode. A couple of things:

    1) Fans of Dr Who will go ballistic! they went crazy when peter Davidson used a gun against the Cyberman... The Doctor letting someone die ( cassandra) will set the fans off on one, but it was stilla great scene..

    2) today we learnt that Gallifrey has GONE!!:eek:. I can't believe it. How will the doctor ever get mroe regenerations? and who did the timelord have a war against that destoryed the timelord and gallifrey? the daleks? The master and crew? this is why this series is going to be so important in the Dr WHo universe.

As I said excellent episode... cant wait for the Gatiss episode next week which looked great with the dead woman looking really freaky deeky!

( the only dogey thing i thought was when they played "britney spears -toxic"... although " tainted love" and the 'I-POD' joke was hilarious!

I think the Cassanova guy would be OK.

He has a lot of love for the show, so it won't be like he has no idea who The Doctor is and where he comes from.

Yeah but whereas Eccleston is a mans man who looks like he doesn't take any messing, that Cassanova guy looks like a bit of a light-weight fop.

It may alienate a lot of fans that the first series built up.

Much better second episode. Fairly decent special effects and nice to see the Cassandra going pop!

This may sound thick, but how can u kill all the time lords? Surely they can go back in time and stop themselves being wiped out.

Please don't let them come up with some temperal cold war bs, like star trek.

The tree woman said He shouldn't exisist.. not shouldn't be alive. It's most likely time lords were wiped out of existance especially as Even if Gallifrey was destroyed, time lord's from prior to that would still be scattered throughout time

How much you wanna bet the Daleks had something to do with the other Time Lords being wiped out.

Loved the second episode, too bad about the tree lady.

Again, making with the thick, if the time lords shouldn't exist , how would her computer recognise him?

I hate time travel, almost as much as i love it, coz it makes my head hurt.

    Yes, I believe it is.
Anyway, I thought that the tree womans computer refused to acknowledge that he existed? Also, I wonder what that Auton creature from the first episode had to do with it? Remember that the Doctor said "I couldn't save your people! I couldn't save anyone!" I also don't think that it can be the MAster as didn't he die in the TV movie with Paul McGann?

I didn't like it as much as the first.
It went on too long and the villain was naff.

The Doctor talking about Galifrey was interesting.
From what I've heard it was The Daleks that wiped out the Time Lords.

But that might not be true

If it is that the Daleks killed all the other Time Lords, it should make the episode with the Dalek interesting.

But did they know they had permission to use the Daleks at the time this episode was written?

    No
Butthe galifrey destruction story was around before this series, they just never said a lot about it or who had done it.

Therefore the Daleks would be a suitable scapegoat

I reckon it was the daleks. Wonder if you can get odds on it...

Well I can't think of any other race (besides maybe the Cybermen) who could cause such devastation.

And I can't think of many other villains who would hate the Time Lords more then the Daleks
