The DVD is available everywhere, actually- Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City, etc.

i bought the DVD, and it has both the EWOK movies.

For some reason i can only remeber the Battle for Endor with the little girl, fast thing and wilford brimley.

I havent viewed the first one yet (what is the concensus, which one is better?)

I doubt either one is anything spectacular- and as mentioned above, they are wierd and dont have the SW feel (no force!) there okay, and the kids will dig it!

As a huge SW fan and DVD buyer, it is a nice addition to my shelf, but its replay-ability, at my age, is yet to be determined

I think the general concensus is that BFE is the better movie. ;)
And if anything, they're both more akin to Willow than Star Wars in terms of sci-fi vs. fantasy.

Still both better than Howard the Duck though (although that RULES on a completely different level :p )

Wicket family was killed??? I think I missed that... Was it on BFE???
By the way, BFE is better than COC...

I was always disappointed because I expected StarWars magic, and it didn't deliver.

As a sunday afternoon movie it's fine, but don't expect to rate it next to any of the OT movies.

Yeah, in BFE all the Ewoks get captured or killed, some escape, but not many. Its like the Orginal Order 66.

    Huh?! I love Wicket!
I was joking around with the idea of him standing with his arms raised, screaming like Vader, because his Ewok pals have been killed in what Ellbobin called "the original Order 66".

Well of course Wicket lives, how else would he be in ROTJ? Or maybe in ROTJ he has a clone named Wiccket.

    ROFL great pic![face_laugh]

Wicket's family got killed in BOE, but it happened offscreen. Those films are quite funny and some mate paintings are really beautiful. I like to watch them from time to time.

What would have been really great would be an alternate ending of BOE. The ship starts leaves Endor, and the two survivors see an Imperiam Stardestroyer, on a mission to spot the location for the construction of DS2. :D One can dream... ;)

The best part about the Ewok movies is that in Battle for Endor, Cindel's dad is played by the guy who was the Principal in the Breakfast Club. Pure genius.

Nope, it's not on DVD... it's from the second season when they changed the voices of the characters, and the theme song.... instead of "we are the E-E-E-E-EEEEEwoks" was "Friends for ever, Ewoks!!"... I downloaded the entire Ewoks series some time ago and I saw that episode...
