Awards During the awards ceremony, would you like to see ...

What does everybody think? Would it be too humiliating for those who didn't win? Or would they, and others, like to see how close they came?

Edit: This is just my own curiosity. Amidala_Skywalker is free to ignore the results of this poll and do the awards as she thinks fit.

I choose the winner and two runners up. Not the number of votes. That can get embarrassing.

While I think it might be cool to see the runners up, in some smaller categories that might leave one story out flapping in the breeze and get a little embarrassing. Also, I think it'll get too cumbersome. There are so many categories, I think just naming the winners is enough.

 

I'd like too to see the winners and runners-up, just to know who else was nominated in that category.

I feel the nominees are just as important as the winners, so I voted for the second.

 

I'd like to see all the nominees in order by number of votes without that number listed next to it. (That way, you can see how well you ranked, but not show the world that you only got one vote ) I think that seeing the number of votes should be the author's choice, maybe by PM or something.

 

I personally think that the awards should list the winners as well as all runners up, in no particular order. It's a honor just to be nominated and I think that the nominees should be listed as well.

I say the name of the winner, plus the two runner ups, since there were so many categories that it'd be impossible to keep track of who and what and so on, the limited number of winners/runner ups will simplify it to a small degree

 

relisting the nominees wouldn't be a bad idea, but not in any order, that's way too humiliating. Even if you got more than one vote, the fact that you couldn't compare to those other stories...

 

As an outsider, I have to confess I'd be interested in seeing how many votes each fic got. If I'd been nominated, however, I might not be so curious -- I don't think I'd like finding out that I only got one or two votes.
