Round 2 has ended and all I can say is this was probably the toughest round of judging. Way to go everyone

That being said, only 2 can go to the final round so I reluctantly announce Revanfan1 you have been Edited. I hope you'll continue your story, though. I'd like to see who was that brazen and what happens to him/her. And I hope you will play again - I enjoy your writing.

I'm taking advantage of some down time in the office to write how much I'm enjoying this challenge. All the stories were amazing. I'd hate to be a judge on this, I could never pick someone to edit

Time for another round of “Edited” for those brave enough to accept the challenge. For any newcomers, here is a refresher on how it works. 4 writers are invited to participate in 3 rounds of competition. . After each round, one contestant will be “edited” until only 1 remains – the “Edited” Champion.

At the beginning of each challenge, a list of requirements will be given to the participants. Each requirement must be used in some way in the entry. Submitted entries will be judged based on creativity, use of requirements and content.

Rounds are timed – please only sign up if you can meet the deadlines:

Round 1: Drabble – 250 words 24 hours
Round 2: Vignette - 450 words 48 hours
Round 3: Novella - 750 words 72 hours
The word count is NOT exact – just keep it to somewhere around the count.

There are 3 openings for judges – please only sign up if you are available to judge

The game will go like this:

Monday 5:00 PM Eastern Time – requirements for round 1 are released
Tuesday 5:00 PM Eastern Time – Round 1 entries are due and the judges will begin reviewing.
Wednesday 5:00 PM Eastern Time – Results of round 1 will be revealed. One contestant will be edited and the requirements for round 2 will be released.
Friday 5:00 PM Eastern Time - Round 2 entries are due and the judges will begin reviewing
Saturday 5:00 PM Eastern Time – Results of round 2 will be revealed. One contestant will be edited and the requirements for round 3 will be released.
Tuesday 5:00 PM Eastern Time - Round 3 entries are due and the judges will begin deliberating.
Wednesday 5:00PM Eastern Time - Results of Round 3 will be revealed and the Edited Winner announced.

The winner will receive 72 of colors and bragging rights (sorry, no $10,000 here)

The contest is open to both SW and non-SW fandoms.
