    So, unlikely rumor of interest: speculation that Season 2 might be a Disney+ possibility. This stemming from the Disney XD YT channel uploading the pilot (chopped up into 10 pieces), which has supposedly never uploaded Tron uprising content before (the previous YT upload of the pilot was on Disney's channel, apparently).

    More likely, this just means the existing season will (obviously) be on Disney+ and they're reuploading it into kid-friendly shorter sgements to entice people into D+ programming. And/or to have it available for promoting the ride in WDW eventually.

    Unrelated, found this cool gif: A storyboard that would have come from the start of the first part of the two-part season finale when Clu arrives. Tesler apologizes about events, Clu talks about how a sphere in his hand wasn't perfect originally and had to be shaped. He then drops it and tells Tesler to clean it up. And then takes Tesler's arms off.

    While I want to hope, I doubt there's any chance of another season after all this time. I still kind of hope for a comic continuation or something to wrap up the storyline. Although at least with the Tron ride coming the franchise hasn't been completely forgotten.

    The Tron arcade cameo in Wreck-It Ralph was nice too. There's probably still a few Tron fans at Disney.

    Tron Legacy soundtrack kicked in on shuffle, it's so damn great, every time I hear it I should think "oooh, I should watch Tron Legacy again!"

    I listened to that score every day for over a year. Still make sure it's always on my iPod so it's always available should the need strike.

    I still play Derezzed and a few other tracks every now and then. Just too bad the memories are just bittersweet by now. If I ever make it to the Tron ride I'll be listening to the soundtrack the whole time I'm in line.

    This is pretty amazing. If only it were practical to build a roller coaster the size of a city.



    Meanwhile, progress has been quick in the construction of the actual Tron coaster in Disney World...

    They could probably just call it "The Grid" like Avatar's section is simply "Pandora". Bit the franchise is nowhere close to being big enough to warrant such an expansion, unfortunately. It may have had a shot shortly after Legacy but the franchise momentum was killed when Disney pumped the brakes.

    A proper Tron roller coaster should be all 90 degree angles and physically impossible.

    Disney XD did that to me this week when they uploaded a Tron Uprising video on Youtube.

    Just old s1 footage though :(. I still hope maybe one day it will be continued with a second series.

    I finished all of them. It's high quality all around. I feel like the speed scenes looked like they came out of anime/manga. I liked Paige's story, of siding with the villains but not really being cruel or crazy as them. She was a shade of gray. Damn shame they did not continue this.

    I think people are campaigning for a few shows, actually. I know some people are hoping that the new Phineas and Ferb movie will lead to season 5 and there are people, ie me, agitating for Milo Murphy’s Law season 3. So welcome to the club....
