    Thanks guys,
I did the Lando painting in the hopes of getting it signed at a convention, then to sell it on ebay, but the event was cancelled...oh well. I suppose I could forge his signature, I am an artist after all.

Man, I keep trying to load your paintings up--but that website they are hosted on always creats an error on my browser so I never get to see any whole picture. I saw most of the Vader painting, though, and WOW was it AWESOME!!!! so great work and keep it up!

Wow! This latest one really blew me away! Excellent likeness and I'm really digging the colors and lighting. All Photoshop, you say? Very impressed! Too bad you couldn't get it signed. That would've been a real nice souvineir(sp?).

HanSolo29, The Lando painting is oil on canvas, i'm not that good at Photoshop.

Nidrail, Sorry you can't open the images, I'll see what I can do to help.

Hey, that Lando looks pretty good. He kind of looks like he's smelling cheese, or maybe it's just Jabba.

The original sketch had Han in carbonite in the background as if Lando was guarding it and contemplating rescuing his friend. They looked good together, but I felt the Han image took away from Lando's presence so I made it just a Calrissian portriat. As for smelling Jabba, I imagine the whole place smelled of Hutt.

Oil on canvas, huh? That makes me appreciate this gem even more. Once again, nicely done! Looking forward to seeing more from you. :)

Very nice! Awesome pose you chose for Fett, there!

    I thought that'd be Vader... [face_thinking]

Yeah, I figured that had to be Vader, with the swirling black cloak--who else could sneak up on a Mandolorian? :p

Amazing painting, BIEREN! =D= I just love the tense, coiled feel to Fett, weapon in hand and whirling toward Vader--beautiful! Great light here, too--very "snow-like!" I sure wouldn't want to be Fett here, though, between Vader and that entire phalanx of troopers roaring up on him! lol! What a great scene!

Yeah it's Vader on the left. He is suppose to be a black "mirror" to the white troppers on the right, traping Fett in a really bad spot, literally and allegorically......
    Thanks for all you comments.

I made it with Illustrator and a very little bit of Photoshop.

That's what I thought. I can't for the life of me figure our how you people make such awsome stuff in Illustrator. I suck at it :p

ThrawnRocks: Illustrator takes time to learn, but once you get the basics down its real easy. Fortunately I use Illustrator all day long, so I've had lots of practice.

    **picks self up off floor**

**collapses again in gales of laughter**

Oh, Lord!! This is too great!! [face_laugh]=D=

Wonderful, BIEREN!! It has a sort of "Anchors Away" thing going on, as Maul looks so realistic, while Fred and Barney are so...cartoony! What a great piece! And thanks for the riotous laugh!
