My guess is Enoch is Enoch. Just like Marrok was Marrok everyone doesn’t need to be someone in disguised.

 

Wait no! Enoch is the love child of Ezra and thrawn. Sadly before this episode picks up they got divorced. And Thrawn is a bad ex lover to have and wants him dead.

Wasn't expecting Enoch to be a stormtrooper, just some random alien with a gold mask.

 

My wild theory on Enoch is that he’s a normal dude. But he will be the one to kill thrawn in that Dave Filoni movie.

 

So a sort of Wormtongue.

Anyway, loved the design of this guy. Part stormtrooper, part Baldwin IV of Jerusalem, part samurai (got robes underneath).

 

Dave is really going all in on the samurai

 

From norse mythology to biblical reference. Good Filoni, good.

 

You know this means that the next spinoff will be "The Book of Enoch."

I noticed the subtitles had him barking orders in an “alien language” during the Chimaera scene. Maybe he’s not an OG Imperial Soldier, but someone/something from Peridea.

 

My guess is he is likely from this galaxy. Probably replacing Rukh as Thrawn’s personal guard dog/assassin.

as for the other stormtroopers either necromancer zombies or jacked up on nightsister force voduu.

 

His mask made me think of the immortals in 300

 

I just said in the main episode thread that I predict Enoch has no face. Something bad happened to this mofo.

 

Did not expect Enoch to reappear in SW series.

One definition of the Hebrew name ‘Enoch’ is ‘teacher’ and he’s working for Thrawn or ‘the dark side’

He's a great merchandising and cosplay opportunity, not to mention fuel for another month's worth of social media speculation.

This, of course, makes him one of the all-time greatest Star Wars characters.

Pretty cool Storm Trooper costuming. Nice to finally have Wes Chatham appear.

 

I see many influences in Enoch's design but Egyptian and Tutankhamun stands out for me.

The helmet is intriguing, not just because he's cut away and replaced the face but the 'mandibles' are flatter than normal stormtrooper helmets. It keeps the black vocoder but the air intake filters are more like those on tank trooper helmets.
