*takes hold of the flask and snarls* "Ironssskin...... potionsssss.....science........the way of naturrres is ovelaped by these thingsssssss. Sssssssssstill I might ussse thissss." *looks around to see if he can find a way out of that room besides the stairs*

 

"I agree, we should definitely be cautious with using these objects. On the other hand, they might be of help to us in our journey." (looks at the rune he found) "I have seen this rune before, and unless someone is against it, I will activate it on my blade."

Holds the rune against the hilt of his sword and starts the process.

 

Aranox:
You search through and behind the bookshelves for anything suspicious, but there is nothing out of the ordinary to be found. During this process, you found that most of the books stored here are written in several different incomprehensible languages.

Jancelot: The rune is slowly melted and absorbed into the sword's hilt as if it were made of water. The process is completed, and the rune has vanished.

 

"Alright, let's search this place one last time before we leave."

(Jancelot searches for any hidden doors or compartments.)

 

Jancelot: You search the room thoroughly, but there is nothing new to be found. No traps, no secret doors, no cracks in the walls that can be bombed...

(Jancelot goes back up the ladder.)

I feel we have sssssssomewhat misssssed something......" *listens to see if theres something waiting for them or close enough.*

 

All Heroes: The group ascends the ladder back to the chimney room.

Aranox: You hear nothing but the downpour of rain outside.
