Mike - I'll probably be joining you at the back of the line.

May is the busy time for where I work and I'm already booking off for a couple days at the beginning of the month for Celebration. My time at the line will be limited to the weekend and probably an evening or two which means my hour count will be low, low, low.

But back of the line or front, I'm glad you'll be there with us.

Thanks for the warm words. I have booked the
15th and 16th off. A question, do you know if it will be another midnight show yet or
will they start to play it the following evening on the 16th.

 

I don't know if there's been any word on a 12:01am showing.

I'm guessing we'll know soon, since tickets will likely be going on sale soon.

 

I`d say yes, since its such a high profile movie.

However, Lucas may be SO confident about this movie he`ll make the fans wait that extra long last moment...

Has anyone heard anything about 12:01 showings and/or advanced ticket sales?

 

Read a notation that europe theatres would have midnight showings.

We should have them too...

Not that the anyone from the long-line would consider attending such a showing...

I had a friend tell me today that they announced ticket info. I can't find it myself.

It boiled down to the tickets going on sale on May 3rd. Which strangely screws anyone attending the freakin Star Wars convention!

Now again, at this point, I cannot prove this and hopefully the info is incorrect.

 

I also heard this at TF.N, I believe.

Makes very little sense. Time to teach my mom out to use that new fangled thing called, the internet...

 

Can we do it by phone? Or can someone else pick up a block of tickets for those of us going top celebration? Do we know when the first showing is going to be? If it's a midnight showing I may have trouble getting off work. Do we know the time for the first showings yet?

 

i have stated this before but i think it got lost somewhere. I work in a building downtown with a place called ESERVUS, in the foodcourt. this place sells every kind of ticket you think of for anything going on in toronto for really good prices, like this summer if we want to go as a group to wonderland, the tickets will be 20 some dollars each, maybe less depending on how many. instead of like 40 at gate. you can get movie tickets there too. If you work in the building like I do, you get better treatment. I already have an open dialog with one of the people there. So if you guys want me to check with her for information on tickets let me know. I just need exact show time, date and a rough amount of how many.

 

As I'll be in the city during Celebration, I'll probably be doing a ticket run. More on this later, when we have showtimes, etc.
