ST Episode 8 Next Location to be Ireland, Donegal/Malin Head

This would indeed explain a few things with are too murky right now. Maybe only the scenery with the huts is Ach-To and the other cliff locations are a different planet? Maybe they belong to Dubrovnik planet. You remember the beach scene in Dubrovnik with a boot landing and here we also have a rumored shot at a beach.

 

malin head, brow head and loop head look too much like ahch-to not to be ahch-to....sometimes things are just as simple as they seem to be haha. As for Luke's charactersation the report is someone's interpretation of a scene and we dont have any context. So, people...dont panic...

 

Funny, my pics with the vague description of the action at Malin Head made it to several webpages. If I knew this before, I would have avoided writing about the 25 guys 'standing around or doing something'. This was meant funny and I know assisting guys are needed for this, but I simply have no clue for what they are there. That's all.

 

To match some of the original shots taken earlier on Skellig Michael, they constructed the stone huts in a manner and place to recreate the actual. That for one location. The others seem to embellish the background with appropriate looking shorelines, cliffs, all of which put together still gives the Skelling Michael feel. It seems to me it took as many locations as they have to recreate the backgrounds in a manner that seems like they are still on Skelling Michael, but fit the story and they can shoot with the freedom they need.

By the way I know where they have dinner/party tonight. Saw some elegant dressed guys/girls on my patrol. But I don't tell where, since I don't want to disturb their privacy and that would go too far.

yeah could be slea head location.

 

That's possible, but I doubt it. All the filming seems to be happening along the rocky coastline, which is very distinct (and nothing like the Dalmatian coast). So while there may be a different planet with a Ricky coastline, I don't think that's very likely.

Looks like the person is just walking, but considering the huts will probably be part of another scenery, I doubt it.

Is that smoke coming out of the top of one of the huts? They do have holes in the top so that could add to the authenticity I suppose.
