Well .. Kylo and the KOR have to arrive on SOMETHING. Maybe Hux took away Kylo's shuttle after the ass-kicking as punishment and Kylo has to steal the equivalent of a golf cart to run away after Rey and Luke..

(bonus: spy sheep video) - turn the volume off as the music is veeeery baaa aaaad

 

I think that that could be the gang plank and surrounding structure of Kylo's shuttle.

Today filming at 2 locations, at Ceann Sibeal again and at Dunmore Head. The viweing spots were secured, so it was difficult to get pics.

 

I work with PTZ camera's all day long in a casino none the less, they can do some pretty amazing things, but the further out you get, the more grainy things become, it may be 2016, but it is what it is. Better than nothing IMO.

 

A big alien being constructed to sit there at the base of the rock. No puppet head yet.

So i visited Skellig Michael a few days ago & really cant describe how beautiful it is. The weather was really bad with huge winds so I could easily see how they chose to replicate it on the mainland rather than film there again. Every step could be treacherous if it's wet and windy. Anyways, took some pics..really wanted to see if that 'headstone' Luke is standing by was there or not, my thinking was that if its not there, it's a prop/plot point(Rey's mom buried there perhaps?) but it was there..doesn't mean it's not a story point but let's see. Still think it's odd to put it in shot, as if they'd moved Luke a few feet to the right, it wouldn't be in shot at all..anyways..enough of that..here's some pics..mostly of spots in Force Awakens

Maybe, when Rey falls into the sea, she is saved by a sea creature she befriended earlier in the film.

It looks so, I will check later again, but it seems they are putting their stuff together.

So it seems the majority of the Ireland filming was Kylo and the KoR arriving and then the big fight.

Although now that I've said this MSW will probably run a story in the next few days with more info, haha.

 

I'm not sure nightangel, was taken by another location spy - think it's over by the cliffs?

I think there's a couple more locations to go still?

nightangel, according to this, the 'ship' set is quite close to the beehive hut set. I'd suggest looking a little farther inland, where the land is flatter.
