This is my early and basic summary of the plot of the first part of my version of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Among the major changes in this prequel trilogy are making Padme herself a Jedi, withholding the introduction of Palpatine until Episode II, and a couple of significant alterations to the early history of both the Republic and the Jedi. I intend to expand upon this outline and make a YouTube video out of it, to be followed by my version of the next two films. I had to forgo descriptions of a lot of elements because I was looking for the opinions of those familiar with at least the Original Trilogy, so if something is not clear feel free to ask me about it. Please let me know your thoughts.

    STAR WARS
    EPISODE I
    A THOUSAND GENERATIONS

A hostile fleet approaches the royal planet Alderaan. King Bail's bid for diplomacy has failed, prompting his general Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Knight of the Republic, to enact a plan of defense.

The treacherous Atha Prime, lord of the Clone Hive, seeks to intimidate the Republic by invading a peaceful member world.

General Kenobi entrusts his Jedi apprentice Padme with a daring mission, on which depends the very fate of the galaxy…

    ALDERAAN (a terrestrial world)

The Clone fleet bombards the capital city with its turbolaser cannons. In the royal palace, Obi-Wan and Padme escort Bail through the devastation. Obi-Wan tells Padme she needs to take their ship to Coruscant to assemble the Republic fleet to fight the Clones, and he will take Bail to the forest camp to regroup and resist the occupation. Obi-Wan and Bail disappear into the secret passage out of the palace.

Padme runs to the royal spaceport, using her Force Cloak to elude a squad of Clones. At the spaceport she finds her ship has been destroyed by the bombardment. The only other remaining ship has their pilot under hostage by Clones. Padme uses her abilities to kill the group of Clones and board the ship along with the pilot. While they take off, he introduces himself as Anakin Skywalker.

They fly into orbit while the Clone fleet continues bombarding the city. Padme tells Anakin he has to take them to Coruscant. But one of the Clone ships' lasers hits Anakin's ship. He tells her the damage to the ship will prevent them from flying that far; they have to get the ship fixed by Anakin's brother Owen, who custom built the craft and knows its systems best. They jump to hyperspace, bound for the nearby desert world of Tatooine.

The elite shuttle touches down in the ruins of the royal palace complex. Out of the craft walks the dreaded Atha Prime, an otherworldly silhouette of flowing robes punctuated by actuating machine limbs. He walks with his bodyguards to the edge of a pit; it was dug at the center of the ruined complex by Atha's clone warriors. Atha Prime extracts from the end of his scepter a black crystal. He tosses the crystal into the pit; at the bottom, the crystal dissolves into the soil and spreads its evil influence.

    TATOOINE (a desert world)

Anakin and Padme land in the outskirts of Mos Eisley. They enter the city and they find the city is controlled by a slaver gang. Anakin pays a slaver with the artifact he stole from Alderaan. Padme responds with disdain at Anakin’s underhanded tactic.

    ALDERAAN

Kenobi and several resistance fighters ambush a Clone patrol and one warrior gets isolated. Kenobi uses his powers to read its mind, which tells him that Atha Prime wants to build a weapon in the palace ruins; but the revelation is cut short when the warrior Clone dies due to its severed mind-link. They return to the hideout, where Kenobi delivers the grave news. Bail orders Kenobi to infiltrate the complex on his own in order to assess the threat.

    TATOOINE

They enter Owen's bar and he tells them of his desire to leave Mos Eisley and move in with Beru Whitesun on a moisture farm. They tell Owen they need him to fix their ship. The slavers think Anakin has more Alderaanian treasure so they raid and trash the bar. The three fight their way out, even killing the gang leader. They then go to Beru Whitesun's home in the desert.

    ALDERAAN

Deep inside the Clone-occupied palace complex, Obi-Wan finds a large hole in the ground, out of which grows a dark helical structure covered in Clone gestation sacs. He is then ambushed by Clones led personally by Atha Prime; Obi-Wan is forced to surrender. Later, in the Clone command center, Atha Prime attempts to torture Obi-Wan for the location of the Jedi Temple. Atha Prime monologues his plan to raze the Jedi Temple and then turn his armies towards the Republic. Obi-Wan resists interrogation and uses the Force to tell Padme that the Clones threaten the Temple.

    TATOOINE

Padme wakes up to Obi-Wan’s warning ringing in her ears, then she walks outside Beru’s house to find Owen working on Anakin’s ship. Padme has a conversation with Beru where we learn that Atha Prime paid Jabba’s goons. Then Anakin appears and says that Owen’s repairs are nearly done, and that he is upgrading the ship's communicator. Anakin says when it’s fixed he will go back to his old life; he remains resentful towards the Republic due to their rejection of his application years prior. Padme tells them he would fit in with the Jedi and explains to him the Jedi Knights' origins: they come from escaped slaves who overthrew the oppressive Sith Lords and founded the Republic. This wins over Anakin and they then take off despite Owen's reservations that Anakin should stay.

    ILUM (an ice world)

Anakin lands his ship on a block of ice near the Jedi Temple. Padme tells the Knights that this man wants to be a Jedi so that he can defend the temple from imminent danger. They view Anakin with suspicion and require a test of Anakin. The Jedi Knight Mace Windu traps Anakin in a lair with a snow monster. The beast overpowers Anakin, so he climbs a rock wall and tells the monster to go away using the Force; the monster leaves Anakin alone, so he passes the test. At the same time Padme broadcasts a Republic signal from the upgraded communicator on Anakin's ship. The Republic fleet shows up in orbit and the Jedi board the flagship. The fleet jumps into hyperspace.

    ALDERAAN

The Republic fleet emerges from hyperspace in close proximity to the Clone fleet. They exchange a lot of laser fire. Anakin now pilots a Republic fighter. At the same time, Padme and the other Jedi land in the woods and lead the charge of Bail’s army. Padme disables a relay station, which deactivates Obi-Wan’s restraints, who then locates and destroys the shield generator. This allows Anakin to fly into the palace complex and deliver the explosive charge which finally destroys the spawn pit. Amidst the violence, Atha Prime retreats to the Outer Rim.

    CORUSCANT (a city world)

The military procession is framed by cheering crowds of sentients; troops board the assault transports docked at the spaceport. On the balcony of a tower overlooking the parade, the Republic Supreme Chancellor Finise Valoraa awards Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, and the other Jedi with medals. Obi-Wan knights Padme with his lightsaber, then he smiles and accepts Anakin Skywalker as his apprentice.
