    So now that we have VIII's title, can we speculate on trends for IX?

    The Force Awakens
    The Last Jedi
    ??????????

    Will it also start with "The"?

    Will it only have three words?

    Will it continue to buck the previous trends of Star Wars titles the same way that TFA did and now TLJ has?

    There's also a fun theory that all 3 titles will create one title, like "The Force awakens the last Jedi ________". So if that's true, which likely isn't but it's fun to speculate, Episode IX title will begin with In or At or With, etc.

    But right now, The seems like a given. Also, since The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are terms connected with the Force and Force Users, title could follow suit.

    or maybe the pattern is that there is no pattern? ;)

    you can even use "Death in the family", which might signify more than one person that dies....as in Kylo if he dies.


    but yeah it would be nice if IX pays tribute to Leia with the title.Since she was originally supposed to have a bigger role with the trades saying that she would have confronted Kylo/Ben which seems to be something for IX rather than VIII. And how Kylo, Luke/Rey react to her death and how it affects their actions.
