    It's a snack called "popcorn".

It's the end result of heating this type of corn.

It goes well with salt and butter.

It is sold at ballgames and movie theaters.

    :p

You should be familiar with popcorn RJ, I use it to feed the chickens at my grandpa's house. BAM!

    ...
I shouldn't be talking after all SC beat Clemson in men's tennis today 5-2.

I agree with Lisa, it looks more like a giant rice crispy treat than popcorn :p

No, no. Other way around. Popcorn is overrated.

When was the last time you saw Rice Krispie Treats sold at a sporting event?

Looks like Rice Crispy Treats to me.

And Peanuts & Cracker Jack are the greatest sports-venue snack food. Period.

Peanuts are a must for me when watching any Dodger or Laker game, regardless if I'm at Dodger Stadium/Staples Center.

Completely irrelevant to my point. Something being sold at a sporting event does not mean its any good. Many times its the other way around.

Hot dogs are one of the worst foods known to man, so maybe you're on to something, R...J.

I have a standard policy of "do not buy food at sporting events unless absolutely necessary" :p

Of course, that has much (or more) to do with price as it does taste, but taste is part of it.

Sometimes I get beer and/or nachos at sporting events. That's about it. And both of those are terrible ripoffs. :p

"A hot dog at the ball park is better than steak at the Ritz."

    -Humphrey Bogart

I can see why some people are turned off by hot dogs, but they're so much a part of Americana. [face_flag]

A part of Americana that you don't know what you're actually eating. I try to avoid hot dogs as much as possible. They're slightly acceptable while camping, but other than that, not so much. Hebrew National and other kosher hot dogs are better, but they're still not great. Give me a burger any day of the week.
