MOD Europe reorganisation

How do you want your forum to be organised within FF Europe?

    So with these new forums we now have some new options when it comes to organizing our regions. For that reason I'm going to post a poll in every forum in Europe on how we want to go on. The options are:

    1. Combine the forums into just one Europe forum. Each individual forum would have it's own tag in the forum and would continue as previously.
    2. Remain as you are
    3. Combine into a regional forum (for example France, Nordic Countries, Slavic Countries) and let each chapter have its own tag within that forum.

    Also in order for this poll to be valid there need to be at least three votes. They don't have to be votes for the same option, but you need to have three members participate in the poll. If the poll isn't valid the default option will be to combine into the Europe forum.

    If you want to see what a combined forum would look like you can take a look at the Oceania Region, that all combined into one forum for the move.

    This poll will be open for two weeks.

    Jag tycker att det skulle bli för stort om FFS forum lades ihop i ett stort Pan-Europeiskt forum. Det finns för många regioner, och för många trådar. De svenska trådarna skulle bara försvinna i mängden. Det funkade inte särskilt bra på temp-forumet där alla FanForce-trådar låg i en enda hög. Tag-filtrering är för ovanligt, och jag tror inte att folk förstår sig på det. Folk måste också uppmuntras att posta nya trådar, och man uppmuntras inte att göra det om man inte kan se några svenska trådar på första sidan! Om forumet skulle tappa för mycket av sin särart så skulle FFS dö.

    OK att aktiviteten hade gått ner innan flytten, men jag tror att det kan ha varit fler som lurkat än vad man kan tro.
    Aktiviteten är närmare noll just nu, men det tror jag är mest på grund av flytten. Om vi inte får tre röster på något val så vore det därför inte så konstigt.

    Jag tror att vi nordiska Star Wars-fans har mer kontakt med andra nordiska Star Wars-fans än med fans i resten av Europa. Dessutom så är våra språk rätt så lika varandra (med undantag för språken i den Finska språkgruppen då.)
    Därför röstar jag för att det blir ett Regionalt forum för Sverige, Norge, Danmark och Finland. I andra hand skulle jag rösta för att vi har kvar vårt forum.

    Jag tycker för övrigt att trådar aldrig ska låsas. De ska alltid finnas där så att man bara kan posta. Det skulle kunna öka postandet. Ett lås är alltid ett hinder, även om det finns någon som har en nyckel.

    Jag röstar för att i första hand för att skapa ett europeiskt forum och i andra hand för ett regionalt forum. Tagg-filtrering kan fungera under förutsättning att det finns en bra, lättillgänglig FAQ för nya medlemmar.

    Jag tycker att det är bra som det är, vilket också var det jag röstade på. Kan dock tänka mig ett regionalt forum för SE, NO, DK, FI. Hoppas verkligen inte på det första alternativet för då är jag säker på att jag kommer att distansera mig ännu mer från JC.
