Ever wonder what happened to Jango's Head?

Has anyone else wondered what happened to Jango's head after Mace cut it off? I wondered for a long time until I actually sat and freeze framed the final strike. On the part where the helmet goes tumbling to the ground, you can see TWO distinct shadows moving away from each other. I wish I could post a screen capture, but for anyone who wants it I can send it to them...

BTW... It's the little details like that that make SW worth watching again and again

Yeah, you see the shadow of it falling out of the helmet.

Maybe a future AOTC Special Edition will have Jango's head slide out of the bottom of the helmet when Boba picks it up *evil cackle*

 

Now THAT would be just plain evil.... Lucas hasn't quite slipped all the way to the dark side....

 

Maybe Boba took it with him?

They accidentally attach it to a droid, and it stumbles through the rest of the battle to comedic effect.

 

There are lots of things flying around during the arena battle (mostly battledroid parts) so I don't believe that Jango's head flew out of the helmet before it hit the ground.

The helmet would have a harness for Jango to strap it on to his neck so it wouldn't slip off.

 

Mace uses it as a basketball

Why didn't Jango Fett's head fall out of the helmet when young Boba picked it up?

If you look closer, you'll see that the head falls out of the helmet before the helmet even hits the ground. An examination of the shadows shows two separate objects fly from Jango's corpse.
