Everything I?ve learned about education I?ve learned from Star Wars

Den här lilla listan gjorde jag förra året när jag studerade för ett muntligt prov i pedagogik och kände mig less på alla flummiga böcker. Det är min hyllning till Everything I've learned about life I've learned from Star Wars-listorna.

While helping students:
*Feel. Don?t think. Use your instincts.
*Let the Force flow through you.
*Use the Force, let go..trust me..
*Stretch out with your feelings.

When students ask you questions you cannot answer:
*There is no why.
*You will know. When you are at peace. Calm.
*Clear your mind from questions
*The code forbids it.

When students do not understand:
*Always with you it cannot be done
*You must unlearn what you have learned.
*And that is why you fail [ when students have first said "I can?t believe it"]
*Control, control you must learn control
*Your eyes can deceive you. Don?t trust them.
*I have grown tired of asking this. So it will be for the last time.
*When you learn to quiet your mind you will hear them whispering to you.

When students ask why they must learn a subject:
*Mind what you have learned. Save you it can.
*Things you will see. Other places. Old friends long gone.

When students ask what they need to learn for a test:
*Only what you take with you.

Opinions of students:
*The Force is strong in this one
*You have learned much young one
*Impressive, most impressive.
*May the Force be with you ( suitable for graduation )
*Great shot kid. That was one in a million.

When discussing with fellow teachers
*I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war
*I will do what I must.
*When I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master. ( suitable if you start working on the same school you went to when you were young )
*The more you tighten your grip, the more students will slip through your fingers.
*My fate will be no different than that of my students.

Other useful lines:
*Do or do not. There is no try.
*The ability to speak does not make you intelligent
*In my experience there is no such thing as luck.

 

Då får väl jag ge dig betyget:Impressive...most impressive

Men jag funderade över komentare "When you learn to quiet your mind you will hear them whispering to you." Det låter lite....tja, skumt att säga. Lyssna till dom små viskande rösterna i dit huvud eller vad?

 

Man kan tänka sig olika förklaringar. Läser man historia så skulle det kunna vara alla kungar som viskar historiska sanningar i elevens huvud .

 

"You have learned much, young one"
Mycket bra, emilsson, MYCKET bra.

Den är grym...

 

Men behövs mot pratiga elever .

 

Hahah. Anar jag telepatisk kommunikation?

 

Bra undervisning. Lär eleverna att inte ägna tid åt tråkiga läxor, utan istället försöka dra ett svep med handen framför läraren och säga "You will tell me the right answer to 1. b"

 

Om jag var lärare och en elev kom fram till mig och gjorde så... då skulle jag genast ge honom/henne svaret.
