Speculation Ewoks in the ST

Or they could portray the Ewok Jedi in a more neutral light and not as a comedic character.

 

If they don't reprise any of the soft fantasy elements from previous films I just hope they don't forget to invent some new ones.

 

Unless the characters go to Endor, I don't see a need for Ewoks.

 

You mean the Forest Moon, Endor is the Gas Giant planet it orbits

I've never hated the Ewoks. If you actually watch RotJ vs anything any Gungan is in, the Ewoks are considerably less ridiculous. And if you actually watch the battle, the Ewoks get the upper hand because of surprise and numbers. The battle starts going against them, the Chewie steals an AT-ST and helps out.

I'm totally for them showing Endor again in the ST. If they film on location. Because live about an hour away now.

 

They got both on Youtube. I think I was maybe 7 the last time I saw them. Man they look awful.

 

I'd love, love, love to see them again!

 

I think an Ewok or Gungan Sith Lord in the ST would be a pleasant surprise for SW fans.

 

Jedi Ewoks? They'd have to have short lightsabers like Yoda. We can't have them tripping on their own lightsabers...

 

Look at the bright side, it's not like they'll ever trip over their own lightsaber more then once.

 

I don't need to stand on anyone's shoulders to emphasise my power, thank you very much. 'Size matters not' was a Sith proverb that Yoda ripped off anyway.

 

If it's ok for E.T. to have a political delegate in the GFFA, then I think the Ewoks deserve their spot in the New Republic.

 

There's certain practices the Ewoks engage in which might prevent that. I doubt that an Ewok delegation would be welcome in the Senate while adorned in the skins of their most-recently defeated enemies while the blood's still dripping off them, nor would the Chancellor agree to take a bite out of still-beating Dulok heart just to say 'hello and welcome'.

However, I wouldn't assume that they won't pop up in the ST. Rumour has it that the working title for Episode VIII is Caravan of Carnage.

 

The only Ewok I want to see is with a light-sabre through his head.......

Can we have a scene where rancors rampage through the forest moon snacking on Ewoks the whole time?

Because if so, yes, there should be Ewoks.
