This is a great idea. I'm going to be bad like everyone else and nominate three. Even with that, it's a tough decision.

First, I've got to recommend Kenu's latest piece, "Bananas":

I know it's not your conventional fanart, but maybe that's why I like it so much. I think it'd be cool to show different styles, anyway.

My second pick was wicktone's drawing of Kit Fisto. It was a hard pick, believe me. Too much good stuff.

We were told to recommend one of our own, so since I've only posted one, I'll go with "Don't Go":

The way things are going, this is shaping up to be some banner.

 

With all the talent in this forum at the moment it's a very difficult choice.

Anyway...I would recommend anything of Wicktone's. Oh and as for me I guess I'd suggest my Yuuzhan Vong. I thought it would be good to include some Yuuzhan with all the humans.

I notice there have been some posters who seem too modest to nominate one of their own pictures ([b]FalconFan[/b] and [b]Wicktone[/b] spring to mind), perhaps because someone else has already nominated their favourite. It might be worth nominating one of your pictures that is "facing" a different direction to those already nominated, eg. if someone has picked a picture of yours where the character you have rendered is looking to the right, nominate a picture of yours that looks to the left or straight out of the screen. This should make things easier for the banner artists when they try to fit the images together on the banner.

It has such a quintessential SW look and feel to it.

soitscometothis - I agree, we need more pictures of the main subject at different angles. I tried making a test banner and there were so many character peices that were all looking towards the left. It's really complicated (then again, I've never made a banner before).
