Yes, it's that time of year again. The Fanfic Trivia game moves back to its usual mid-summer time slot.


For the next week or two my evil henchwomen and I will be scouring the fanfic forums for any piece of minutae from the wide variety of fics in the three story forums.

In addition, as in last year's game, a section will be set aside entirely for a quiz on forum history and general knowledge regarding fanfiction here at TFN.

As in the past, the members of the winning team will receive VIP status for two weeks as well as a catchy title proclaiming their victory.

For now, all that's needed is for players to sign up and to choose a teammate if you so choose.

For those new to the game, you're allowed to play solo or to team up with one other person to combine your efforts and/or frustration.

So take some time and consider if you'd like to play and who you'd like to corral as a teammate.

The game is tentatively scheduled for mid-July and usually lasts for just over a week. What's worked well the last few years is to give the questions on a Friday and to have a deadline nine days later on the following Sunday.

Yay! It's back!

This was soooo much fun last year. Ok. It was more frustrating than fun in a I don't know anything about fanfic forum history kind of way. But overall it was a blast.

I'm definitely signing up but am not sure if it's as a solo or a team. I'll have to go hit up the two friends I've made since last year for a possible partner in crime.
