Fanfiction Challenge/Contest: The Fall of Jacen Solo?

In LOTF, Jacen Solo is falling mercilessly to the Dark Side of the Force. Seduced by his complicated life, the young Force-wielder is going down a path of no return.......or is he? It is up to you! I am hosting a fanfiction contest, starting from February 5 to April 5. (Lots of time! ) The point of this is to make Jacen's fall or no fall the way that you choose. Will you make him turn? No? How come he will or will not?

There is no word limit.....it can be a one-shot or a forty chapter long story. Either way, get your creative juices flowing! Write and post the story in the Beyond the Saga board, then post the link to the story in here! I am working on mine... However, the TOS and fanfiction rules apply.

I cannot give out promises of VIP colors....but I can give out promises of lots of fun!

Please, please PM me if you would like to join! (Just so I know who's doing it!) (I am kind of hoping that JadeSolo will be holding my hand through this.) Voting will be done...well, we'll figure that out later, when all of the stories are in!

Although I have a question:
Does the story have to be in the canon universe?
that is to say, does it have to be Jacen? or can it be set in my joinerverse with someone called Bob the Crazy killer
who is actually the grandson of Anakin Skywalker and Serra Keto, and son of Luke and Callista Organa... you know, AU Jacen.

It has to be in the Star WArs universe, but you can have OCs as long as they don't interfere in the plans or normal characters.

This is a tough challenge. I'm so against how Jacen has been handled in the NJO and LOTF. I was never a Jaecn fan to begin with. I never read yjk, so I never experienced the other Jacen. But Jacen has been so steeped in the deluded mentality for so many years that his fall was inevitable. The challenge would be to have him return to the light in a beliveable way. That would be a challenge.

I like your idea, Shi-ann. I may take a stab. The question is do I care enough to save him or do I kill him in a terrible way.

 

*sigh* I can't believe what happened between him and Tenel Ka.

The Jacen Solo in the YJK was the funniest, coolest guy. He was awesome and was my fav for a long time.

Until I picked up on NJo and LOTF.

Go ahead. I'll see what I can come up with. I really want to kill the guy. But bring him back has to be real and plausible. That's tough.
