Atlantic FanFilm...

I was wondering if there is any interest in the Maritimes about producing a Fan Film...

I have several ideas for scripts and would like to get together with some people who have a flair for directing and acting in such a film.

Hey, if you want to hear more about Sackville, you should go over to FanForce Moncton. We've managed to convince the people there to have the next meeting IN Sackville, because there are 3 students here at Mt A, and we wouldn't be able to make a meeting somewhere else.

Yeah, I could help with acting, not very good at it. But I could help with scripting. I've got training in editing and camera work!

 

Count me in if we're in the Sackvillish vicinity.

 

well... a script needs to be written first.

I've got a few shorts written that can work as tech demos for lightsaber anims, etc...

but I don't have any feature-length stuff written yet.

I was thinking about something set during the Clone Wars.

in any case, the first order of business would be to get the script written.

secondly, props and costumes need to be made, followed concurrently by casting.

Then locations need to be found, and finally shooting.

which, I hope can be done wherever it needs to be, within the bounds of the Maritimes.

as for Sackville.... I have no clue where that even is.

I barely know where Moncton and Saint John are.

but that's beside the point at the moment, since I'm at least several months away from being ready to even think about shooting.

I would like some help with script ideas and writing at this point in time however.

If people want to collaborate with me that'd be excellent. I am available every Wednesday and Thursday if people (in the Fredericton area) are interested in getting together to work on the script.

For those outside the area who would like to contribute, we can keep in touch by email.

Which brings me to another question... is there a FF email list for the Maritimes, or if not, a way to start one?

Another Allisonian here. Sackville's a rifle shot from the NB/NS border (NB side).
