Yep, I think it's really time to start discussing the next meeting...

As some of you have probably heard, we in FF Sweden would be more than happy to host the meeting in Stockholm. For those who don't know it, Stockholm is the capital of Sweden, and is an old city located on 14 islands in Lake Mälaren. We really hope people will want to come and visit our beautiful capital! (Oh gosh, I sound like some tourist bureau there... )

 

In the summer!

Some time when as many people as possible can come... and Ep3 will of course still be in the cinemas in the summer, so we can go watch it... undubbed!

 

I'm in. Don't want to sit at home and be jealous at other people meeting up again next year.

So, unless I have something really important to do at the time of the meeting (which is unlikely), I'll be there.

No, seriouse: I think it's a great thing that we want to keep this kind of meetings alive!!

What about the idea of expanding the meeting to 4 days instead of 3?!
The experience we had with 3 days in Paris was, that we only had 1 full day, which was a bit less than needed.
Having four days in Lissabon gave us the chance to see more, spent more time together, make better friends

I think four days is a great idea. It will give us time to socialise and still see some things.

 

I will do my up-most to attend this one
And I agree with Sabine in that people should try and join whenever they can, that way more people will get to come even though it might not be for the full four days. It may make organising things more difficult, but in the long run I think it might be worth it

 

Actualy in Lisbon it was 5 days. (arrival Wednesday, departure at Sunday). 4 days is still little on my oppinion.

I think it's a good time to start talking about the 2005 meeting, also. Like done for 2004 when the Paris meeting was over.

I am interested in going to the next one no doubt. And I hope that some of the concepts used on the last meeting proove to be good enough to be kept for the next ones.

As a resume: I offered I would repeat the schedule and places visited to her if she would come still later on.

She will arrive to Lisbon this saturday and will stay a week.

So i still get to live a bit the 2004 meeting again! YEY!

Well if people are already thinking it will be hard to attned four days I'm sure the will have problems to attend five...
But Tiago, it will be hard to have a so well organised Meeting again in the future

This time will be much harder for me to go, mostly because I have begun university, so first year is always hard, and summer will be busy too.... but anyway, I'm already saving money

4 days is fine, but I have to say 5 days is PERFECT. Lisbon is a example, and I would vote "yes"

I think five days is possible to organise. The longer the better (within reason of course)

For me it's no problem with five days (heck, it would be great if we had like two weeks, but I guess most people can't come for so long. ), I'm all for it!

From what I've heard Tiago arranged such a great meeting that it will be really hard for us to reach that level, but we'll do our best...

I think August is the best month too, since I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that most people have their vacations in August. Also, the weather is usually best in Sweden in August.

I'll get to meet Morgaine sometime this week! Whee! As for the 2005 meeting in Sweden, it's a bit early for me to be able to tell, but most likely I won't be able to go. I'm saving money for a big trip in 2006, and most likely I'm going to college this year... So it'll be a bit hard on the money side of everything. There's always the chance that I'll find a dream part-time job that pays twice as much as a regular 8-5 job while doing only half the hours, orf course. In that case, I'll most certainly go. Or if a really-distant aunt/uncle/cousin/ suddently includes me on their will, something like that.


Ah well, a gal can dream. I want to meet more FanForcers!

no way I can make the first week of august. I'll be in Croatia at the EUGEN (European Geologystudents Network) Meet

 

The one good thing about August next year is that I'll be free from doing A levels

So I can do what I like for a bit

 

I can't make it as I am going to be away again. Oh well so much for seeing everyone before I move
