    I'll try and be there.

I'm not doing anything in the summer, so I might as well go up for as long as I want. And I want to check out the Swedish Underground Metal Scene. If bands like Insision keep coming out, I'm going to have to start taking Swedish bands seriously! :p

If Star Wars teaches us one thing, it's not repeating the mistakes of the past

I didn't know what I'd do last August, or even if anything at all. Turned out I hadn't, but obviously stayed here.

But in 05 nothing happens in August anyway, if anything does, so I'll be there, for 6 days if you want.
    Don't travel enough anyway.

I will do my best to be there. Can't promise anything, but I try.

May biggst problem is that I probably just have 20 days off next year... ;)
So I have to be careful. ;)

But 4-5 days in Sweden sounds mangeable. :D

    Yay! More people! :D

I haven't had the time to plan for the meeting for a little while, due to uni and fixing FF Swedens website and stuff like that, but now I have more time once again. I'm going to put together a small website with some info and stuff, although it will not be anything near as cool as Portugal's last year... (I'm a n00b when it comes to html and stuff... :p) ;)

It's so cool that so many people want to come! [face_dancing]

For me the same (as MacCaffrey). I will do what I can to be there. But I can't promise, because I don't know if and when I find a job. :)

I can't promise either, as it'll depend highly on cost and such, and whether or not I'll be recording, but if all of that's cool, I'll do my best.

I'm working on a small webpage where we can gather all the news and nice links and other stuff. SHould be up and running in the next few days. :)

But something that we need to decide together is of course the date! I think we ought to set a date soon, so people can plan their holidays and stuff. :)

It seems like most people here want to have the meeting in August, and I think that's a great idea. But, for how long? 4 or 5 days? Exactly when in August? What do you think? :)

I know emilsson have been looking a bit at some hostels and airfare, but I can't really remember the prices and stuff. Shouldn't be difficult to find out though. ;)

Tis a shame I really wanted to come and meet you guys before I moved to Canada but August is a no go, oh well next life time perhaps ;)

Enji, for me, anytime in August is great, and anywhere between 3 and 7 days will do for me!

    That's cool, Cobra! :)

I woke up this morning feeling productive, so I've fixed a little homepage for the meeting.

    http://www.monostar.net/enji/ffeurope/

It's not really finished, and I don't really know hos it displays on larger monitors (I have 800x600 resolution) but at least it's something. Any tips or ideas about stuff to put on it is greatly appreciated! There's not many links yet, for example... but there's still some time left. ;)

I'd just like to point out one spelling mistake:

    Lissabon

But otherwise, it all looks pretty good.

If you want, I can ask my mate Chris (Known as TokyoBlade on here) to do some Coding for you to make it look retro and cool.

And I don't know what the banner at the side was as my damn Kaspersky/AOL hybrid hellraiser keeps blocking everything.

Oh, ok, what's the city called in English? It's Lissabon in Swedish, but I don't know what it's called in English... [face_blush]

The "banner" at the side is just a pic of Stockholm.

As for a fancier design... while it would be cool having something a bit fancier than my little attempt, I still want to be able to update the site myself, rather than having to trust someone else to do it. It makes things a little smoother. :) 'Course, if there's a way for me to still be able to update it myself, that would be an option...

    In English its Lisbon.

And I could just have Chris work in a HTML Practise sheet to work up the coding, then send the code to you so that you can put it up.

Thats if he agrees to to it, that is.

If you want any examples of his stuff, Our Band's Site and Our Band's Forums are good examples.

Nina... I can't open your website. :( Do you know if there is a reason for this?

But thanks for putting your work and time into a website. :) I am looking forward to be able to open it someday. :)

(Btw everytime I open this thread, I wonder what have I written here. :p
    Nice Icon! :D )

Yeah, it's working for me too, now. Perhaps it was just the server that was down for a little while?

It's hosted on a friend's server, and sometimes he fiddles around with it and it might be that. Is it availible for you now? If not, then I have no idea what's causing the problem. I'm pretty much a n00b when it comes to computers. :p

    Yeah, it works now.

    Chris' responce: lol.

He was overcome by the AT-AT I think.

Sadly, I changed the banner to one without the AT-AT... :p

But I think I'll put it in somewhere... I love that little thing. ;)

At the moment it's everywhere apart from the homepage anyway.
