Agreed. I'm just going to go ahead and print out 5 & 6 for my badge because I know they're gonna win.

    I'm sorry but #5 didn't cut it.

    Instead the winner are:

    and

They both finished within a vote of each other, and a few votes ahead of the others.

I can also say that I would be happy if someone could help me get my name on to the badge, since I lack any photo/image editing programs. [face_batting]

YES! :D I was hoping the Han and Leia one would win, though I freely admit to wanting the Luke and Yoda one to be the back.

Download the hi-res image, open it in a program like Photoshop or GIMP (free Photoshop alternative), add your name, save, and print.

If you can't add text to an image in iPhoto, you might want to check out GIMP or GIMPshop (same program, Photoshop-like interface). Both programs are free and come in Mac & PC flavors.

For printing options, it's a good idea to check out your local FedEx Kinkos/FedEx Office as they can most likely print out your badge and laminate it for a decent price. I've used them to print up badges for my FF for the last two celebrations.

The latest version of Google's free Picasa software, which I use frequently for basic photo editing and sharing, has an easy-to use text tool in it now. It's also pretty easy to print using it too if you choose to print at home.

Fantastic! Those were both of my votes for Round 2!:D

Is there any official front and back, or can we choose which one we want on which side? I actually put which side I wanted each vote to be on for both rounds in the PM, as it is.

I also need help with the name adding. Would XJapanRoX or anyone else be willing to help me out as well?

There's no official front and back, my experience when it comes to badges is also that they tend to flip around so there's no use of having an "official" front and back.

Oh, I know that they flip around all the time...but my compulsive nature always makes me immediately untwirl it and switch it back to the "correct side", so it actually does make a difference for me.:p

MrZAP -- First off, I'm glad you're pleased with the results!

I'd be happy to help you with your name on the badge. Please send me a PM regarding the issue (with your eail address) just so I can keep track of anyone who needs help with it, and make sure I don't miss anyone. Same goes for you, Echo-3, feel free to PM me as well if you're having any trouble.

Also, Echo-3, I'm going to be making some barely noticeable edits to the badge (you know, so it's still the badge that was voted for, but just so that it's up to snuff!) and will be posting a link to MediaFire, where you can download the full resolution file. The trouble with posting the file as an image here on the forums is that it will lose a little bit of quality when displayed for web. So, to get around that, all you'll have to do is click on the link I post later tonight and click on "download" -- you'll simply save it to your hard drive and can print it from there once your name is on it.

However, if you'd like me to put your user name on the badge for you, I'd simply email it to you as an attachment once I'm finished.

Thanks to all again for the support! =)
