Why not just wear a White pants? Many of the other ships captain and crews don't wear black.

Yazid, why don't you just hem up the coat and remove the stitches later... pins might fall out... won't do for the cool image y'know

So since the movie is at 7.05pm, Lido 1; think we should be at the cinema by 6.30pm. So can we meet at Somerset MRT Station at 5.15pm? We'll walk out to Lido by 5.30pm, taking roughly the same route as with the AOTC one (Ps: Want to attack Kino when we get to Taka? )

For those who can't make it earlier, be at Lido by 6.45pm.

Xeno, since yours is a replica, remember to bring a bag to carry them in during the walk.

Just a reminder, for the sake of safety (and so that you wouldn't spend the nite behind bars), if you choose to carry any realistic weapon replicas (not including toys of course), bring along something to carry them in. Security is getting tighter these days; just a few weeks ago, another article about the importing of Replica Weapons had appeared again in TNP.

 

I'll be carrying a sling bag, and only revealling at the cinema.

Roll Call for those interested in attending the Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King Screening on Dec 17th (not confirmed) and Dec 18th (Confirmed; Screening at about 6.45-7.05pm at Lido 1). Those who are suppose to attend in LOTR costume, please also state what you'll be wearing here or at the ML.

Please State how many tickets you'll need ASAP as the tickets will start being sold very, very soon according to certain sources and I need to get them the latest 2 weeks before the Big Day.

More Star Wars. The spirit of Star Wars will endure for a long, long time.

Well, personally I won't call our SW (or LOTR or The Matrix or X-Men etc) as Cosplaying is a new term in Singapore. All movies related costumes making will forever be Costuming to me as we put a greater emphasis on Extensive Research, Durability, Accuracy, Self-Pleasure and Looks rather than Speed (there is unfortunately this mentality among local cosplayers that they MUST wear a new/different costume for each event). Even in the USA, Cosplaying 99% of the time refers to Anime/Manga/Games/JRock/JPop related costumes unless the person does both type of costumings. Internationally among the SW/LOTR/The Matrix Costuming Community (and those who 90% of the time do only Movie related costumes), our hobby is called Costuming and not Cosplaying.


Xeno, you doing which version of Gollum? TTT or Pre-Hobbit (aka some cloth still on his back)? Cause unless you wear a body suit during the LOTR Costume Parade on Dec 18th, we might have difficulting avoiding the Police for indecent dressing.

Yeah, but Episode III signals the end of the Star Wars movie saga... sigh... I'm going to miss it...

 

The pre-hobbit version... cannot be caught for indecent dressing...

 

of course i'm interested, but i am really too lazy to put together a costume for that event. why don't i be yr official photographer or something. or maybe yr personal slave to help carry all the extra bags and stuff. haha, tell me if u need any help.

The Dec 18th Screening is most likely be changed to Cathay Cineleisure Orchard at 8.30pm as all evening tickets at Shaw Lido had been SOLD OUT. So that means the Costumes Parade will be delayed to 6pm sharp. I'll attempt to get 20-25 Tickets tomolo so for those whom I hasn't contacted personally today, PLEASE reserve your ticket ASAP.


The Dec 17th one is most likely Cancelled tho' we will go to Shaw Lido in Costumes to attend the activities organized there.

In order to replace the Cancelled Screening on Dec 17th, I'll like to recommand we see FOTR:EE and TTT:EE during the periods they will be shown in cinemas. Please state wherther you are interested ASAP so tickets can be gotten ASAP.
