Hey, guys.

Tim with "From Bricks To Bothans" let me know that some of you are curious about where the tables are situated in the "Fan Table Room" at Celebration II. Well, here's the basic layout of the room that we all came up with 2-3 weeks ago:

My friend (who isnt at easy computer access) wants to do it. What info does he need?

Sunday, May 5:

11:00 AM to 01:00 PM Bobafemme just until noon Strawbary noon -1:00 so someone is needed 11am to 1pm or 2 people, with each getting an hour shift

03:00 PM to 04:00 PM 2 people needed

Hi Grimby the Hutt!

I don't think anyone is needed at that time frame anymore (unless Bobafemme or strawbary wants to drop their shift? ?), but 3 to 4 is still wide open. Is that possible for you?

I hope to meet a fellow icon maker at CII.

Well, officially it looks like we have need of people on:

Sunday, May 5th
03:00 PM to 04:00 PM - Two people

It is entirely possible though that once the schedules come out for Sat and Sun people will want to change so they can do some activity or another.

As much as I dont want to I may have to leave early for sunday so if someone wants my shift sunday 12 -1 thats not a problem, (if there is too many bodies) however, if no one does pick it up, I WILL BE THERE 12 -1

I removed my Friday Shift. I would be willing to take another that day if I can.

 

Do you want to meet with us all Friday when the place opens to go over what you want? Outside of the faqs Femme sent us.

 

I'm in the process of making a binder of all the info you could possibly want. Also, I'll be there the first morning to help set-up and will stop by often (I have another volunteering gig keeping me busy each day 1:30-7:30). I'll also be sending email updates to everyone as things get finalized. Also, if you are volunteering, remember, your chapter can have it's own flyer at the table. Tell your CR if you aren't one. Before printing, make sure there are NO copyrighted images on it (ie characters and symbols of SW).

 

Darth_Hair let me know about the no images rule (bummed) our logo even contains those.

I'm making a version of our flyer with the images stripped out.

Is the Star_Jedi font in the multimedia section ok to use?

 

I don't think I will be able to help with the set up. My family and I are staying at a different hotel Thursday night than we are Friday and Saturday. With getting the kids ready and switching hotels I may be a bit busy that morning.

 

We totally need you, Grimby. I have you down for taking a three shifters shift. Let me re-check email and files. I think this thread (there are 3 of them on FF) is just not updated. I'm at work so I can't do it now(files at home). I'll have it done by 9 PM board time.

Also, if anyone else would like to volunteer on-site, stop by. Some people have three shifts, and would like some relief.
