    Hello to all my favorite Welsh people :)

    Your lovely CR approached me and asked if I had any chapters in my region who weren't already paired up in the FF Twin program. Well it turns out I do! And they really want to participate with your group :)

    For those who don't know what the Twin Program is, basically your chapter is paired up with another chapter and you post on each other's forums, get to know each other, that sort of thing.

    I have paired you with the [link=http://boards.theforce.net/Foxboro,_MA/b10654/]Foxboro, Massachusetts[/link] chapter. They are a new and growing chapter, very enthusiastic and friendly. Head on over and get to know them!

    So what is there to do in your part of the States?....
    In my part of Wales...Cardiff we have some of the coolest castles to visit, a state of the art seafront bay development, The millenium stadium, which has held some great concerts and sports matches, Plus lots of gorgeous countryside just minutes from the city center.

    Over here in central Massachusetts we have four professional sport teams from each league; NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL. Depends on what your into. Pretty much whatever you like can be found in the US.

    MA has alot of history if you're into that. They decided that the British weren't running things well, so it was time to throw some tea in the Harbour and get independent. The "shot heard round the world" that started the American Revolution happened just 12 miles outside of Boston in Lexington, MA.

    Boston is a city full of art and leisure. We have many museums, from Science, Art, Natural History, and even a Computer Museum. The Boston Public Library, one of the oldest in the country, is huge and contains both a modern section and a historical area. It's size is only outmatched by the New York Public Library.

    Like someone said, Boston has a huge sports following. The Boston Red Sox, a baseball team, overcame 86 years of failure last year and finally won the World Series. That would be like if Manchester United, Liverpool, or your favorite Welsh football team didn't make it to the playoffs for decades, and then finally won.

    You guys should come visit some day. :)

    Boston = Cheers.

    Sorry but that's all the information most people know about Boston. ;)

    The term "Playoffs" in this country mean something quite different. Teams enter a playoff if they were not good enough to win the champtionship and finish, say fourth.

    They then play the other losing teams in a "playoff" game, with the winner gaining a big prize (such as promotion), or a cash equivalent prize!

    And it's a bad thing if your team is "relegated" :p

    It's also a bad thing if strange looking American's buy football teams and turn them into money making ventures.

    Do American sports have relagation?
