Lit Fantasy Flight Games and the Star Wars TCG

A few cards seem to have quotes, but that's about it.

 

Third party sellers have it, but they're missing the Y-wing expansion. I'd like to get the full set (core and four expansions) in one go if possible. Ebay have them all, but with ridiculous shipping costs

Didn't consider FP; I live in London so it may be an option next time I'm up that way.

 

I'd call and ask if they have it in stock before you make the trip there.

 

It gives me an excuse to get out. I make at least one trip to the area a month in any case so popping in on the off chance isn't really a big issue.

I'm somewhat amused that the "Rebel Assault" and "Rookie Pilot" cards are right next to each other...

 

I have to admit, something about Mothma looks a little creepy in that picture.

Somewhat puzzling choice - why go with something as obscure and unused as the Battle of Hoth?

 

Huh, I just realized that Fantasy Flight is probably the safest of the various companies under Star Wars license. Their focus is on stuff from the Original Trilogy, plus they would then be able to release, presumably after they get through TESB and ROTJ card sets, cards based around the Sequel Trilogy. Not a bad place to be in.

god am I glad they offer big expansion packs and no collectible mix crap that costs more than it is worth to get each card at least once. completists happy day it seems also themed expansions so one can choose which theme one is interested in and which not, perfect! thx FFG!!!

 

Given their usual release schedule, they might even get through the PT card sets before the ST comes out. Either way, more shiny new art for us.

 

Still prefer Decipher's game.

great art... but I find the lack of names to new locations f.e. disturbing.. to boot, it lacks females in art, diversity score so far not optimal!

 

Neither is the Original Trilogy's.

 

Ah, orbital bombardment... We must have more of that

 

Everybody has bought the entire sets to scan all available card art? Or just find me the complete list of artists, so I can hunt their websites for awesome images like I did with SWGTCG.
