Favorite Aspect of the PT?

What is your favorite aspect of the PT?


I've read critics looking down upon the Coruscant/Senate scenes, thinking that they're a waste of half the movie. Contrary to that, the Senate scenes are my favorite part. We all know that Anakin is seduced by the darkside, yada yada yada. So that part isn't as interesting to me. Maybe this is from the fact that I'm a conspiracy theorist, but I love to see how Palpatine smoothly gained political power and eventually paved the way to him becoming Emporer without anyone noticing. And I also find it interesting that there are some parralells between that and the modern day political scene.

 

I do indeed enjoy the political scenes as well (pick up Cloak of Deception if you ever get the chance ), and Palpatine's rise to power is no small part of the Prequels.

 

For me, the fact that it's no longer easy to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad ones. There are heroes on both sides... evil is everywhere

 

I like the way the PT adds to the complex backstory of OT, making it all very involving and varied. It means we can get more out of both trilogies, as more of the story has been laid before us and it all makes for a better saga.

 

Favorite aspect of the PT? That's a tough one! I think I like how a lot of things are explained for the OT: what the Jedi were really like, what Anakin used to be like, explination of the Clone Wars etc...

 

Well there is a lot. Anakin and Padmes love, the saber fights. Being able to see the Clone Wars. Seeing more Jedi. Seeing other Sith and so on. There is a lot I like about the PT.

 

Indeed, fleshing out the story of the Jedi Order that was so mysterious in the OT was awesome. It's also provided us with some beautiful video games, and all that Clone Wars EU. And don't forget the purple lightsaber breaking the trend of blue/red/green...

The Villains.

Maul was awsome.
Palp/Sids is just SO evil.
Dooku is such a good villain.

The Action is #2 on the list.

After ep.3, however, it's going to be the emotion.

"You were the chosen one!"

You can just FEEL it.

I firmly believe 3 will possibly top ESB and ROTJ, if not, it will at least reach their level.

 

Hmmm, tough question. I love the uprising of Anakin, as well as the way the Empire is being formed.

 

I love how the PT shows us more of the Star Wars galaxy. There are more planets, richer costumes, a host of new characters, and more politics.

 

I have enjoyed learning the backstories, can't really choose one though:
Who Darth Vader was before the suit.
What was Luke & Leia's mom like.
Obi-wan's younger days.
The time of the Jedi .
the storm troopers/ clone trooper aspect
Yoda
The fact that Anakin built C3PO
