Saga Favorite Chewie scenes in star wars movies.

Speaking of Solo does anyone know the name of the other Wookie that chewie helps in that one scene? I forget if his name was ever mentioned in the movie but for some reason i'd like to know more about him.

 

I don't think his name is ever mentioned, but I know who your talking about and would also like to find out more.

 

Hm, too many great moments to choose from, a testament to Mayhew's acting.

It's the little moments I like best that show off Chewie's personality and one of my favorites is in ANH where they are going to the detention center and Chewie snarls at that little droid who then quickly zips back around and flees!

 

Fighting Han in Solo

 

His nervous glance over his shoulder as they approach the dining room on Cloud City. Chewie knew something was up alright.

 

IIRC, the novelization of ESB said that Chewie thought he smelled something vaguely familiar and disturbing just before the dining room door opened. So apparently Wookiees can smell Sith Lords through sealed doors.

 

The Disney films have handled Chewbacca very well, IMO. They’ve given him some of his best scenes.

 

Unfortunate that the choice is limited to "movies" since my favorites aren't from the movies.

Maybe the disgusted snarl in the DS control room in ANH. ("Haven't you Jedi screwed up enough already?")

 

I don’t think Solo is the best movie and I respect Peter Mayhew, however I honestly think my favorite Chewie moment is when he meets Han.

My favourite Chewie moments are him carrying Threepio on his back in TESB and taking over the AT-ST in ROTJ.

Honourable mentions go to his priceless reactions to Han trying to bluff the gangs in TFA and in Rise of Skywalker when
