Wow...yeah the Breathing trailer is intense. My heart is pounding. The new ptb should take notes from that trailer

Can't wait til the day when all 9 SW movies are promoted on Cable TV with a trailer like that.

 

Breathing teaser for AOTC is my fave.

Old school! Funny thing about that was that half the voiceover is the same as the corny, somewhat clueless VO on the first trailer for Star Wars:

The 1990 Boxset collection and that trailer was how I got started on the Saga. Seeing that trailer every time I popped one of those videos in before the movie started was awesome. Feels nostalgic watching it again.

Because Maul only has a few lines in TPM, I never realized until watching this trailer what a good Peter Serafinowicz impression Sam Witwer does.

 

These are TV spots but damn they get my blood pumping



Also this modern fan ROTS TV spot is great too

 

The AOTC trailer was really good. The one that started with the ROTJ Sarlaac music.

being only 4 at the time in 77 i dont remember seeing the one for ANH before seeing the film but the ESB and ROTJ are ones that means a lot as they meant a continuation of my favourite film and helped build up the exceitment for me for them. As for later on the SE trailers as it made couldnt wait for the return of the OT in cinemas and the same for the TPM trailer it meant finally a new Star Wars film was near that said I always do get excited when a new trailer for a Star Wars film is announced

 

I really do like the AOTC breathing trailer but this one is my favorite

 

The first trailer for the 97 re-release put me on the floor of the theater crying by the end.

I was so freaking happy...and I had no idea it was coming or the trailer was on the film (the Beavis and Butthead movie, of all things)

I had never seen Star Wars on a screen that big (that I remember)...just like the trailer said...and when that X-Wing blast through...

A great memory of my youth.

 

My favorite trailer is actually one of the saga ones someone put together on YouTube, including all the 9 episodes. I can't post it right now cos I'm at work.

But as far as officially released trailers, I think I will never get the same kind of excited feeling as I did for the first AOTC teaser, with the Darth Vader breathing-back before I knew how everything would play out after TPM.

The first TFA teaser, which I streamed at home as it was shown at Celebration, was another memorable moment for me. I haven't felt that level of excitement for a SW film since...

 

The first trailer for Season 7 of The Clone Wars - new Lucas era Star Wars coming out almost 10 years after George had retired! Also helped that I got to see it in a theater full of screaming fans at Celebration.

 

Few things here....

You don't hear "voice over" trailers much anymore, nor the release date being given as [insert holiday weekend].
