    Here's a couple of mine!

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/D-Wing_Space_Superiority_Fighter

One of those one-shot 'Wing' fighters we never saw again.

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Silent_Death

A short which told us what the Independence was up to during the Vong War!

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Subjugator_(Subjugator-class)

There was actually a Subjugator before the Malevolence!

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Devastation

    And after!

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Auto-fighter

Kinda squee'd when I saw these turn up...

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Chandrila_Jedi_tomb

Yes, late Legends named who was an important enough Jedi to warrant a full-blown TOMB

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Regency_Worlds

I did not expect to see this get more information, but it did! So woot.

    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ator/Legends

Which let me to find out where Owen was born. I did not know this!

    Huh, there's a D-wing? And I thought the C-wing was obscure.

Hey @Iron_lord, this means we can chain A-wing all the way up to E-wing in the EU ABC's thread!

Wookiees can communicate with each other telepathically at interstellar distances, per the Wookiee Storybook.

The Grand Engineers, a secret society of Force-sensitive technopaths.

From Tatooine Manhunt, a race of aliens that don't just resemble sentient dogs, but specific breeds of dogs - the module mentions one that resembles a great dane, the other a beagle.

The sentient ocean of Solanus, which may or may not be related to the Living Sea of Gazian.

Luke's father's original name, "Tan Skywalker" (not particularly fond of the clunky retcon, though).

The Legends D-Wing is obscure but you’ve had a D-Wing in Canon since 2019. [face_just_sayin_don’t_hurt_me]

Hang on, I'm looking at that article which says that the name "Anakin" didn't come about until ROTJ. But then when I go to the "Behind the Scenes" section for Anakin Skywalker, it says that "Anakin Starkiller" existed in George Lucas's first draft for Star Wars. So how do we reconcile this?

I think it's because Russ Manning, who most likely came up with the "Tan Skywalker" name, wasn't aware of Anakin being the name of Luke's father in early drafts.

Waaaay too many to list, but some of the ones that tell what the longer term plan was for the Empire. From the original Tarkin Doctrine message: "a force vast enough to secure every System simultaneously", from Cracken's Threat Dossier: the Super-class Star Destroyer was designed to be a Sector-level command base and the Death Stars we're to be the center of Regional commands", and the hints from the Dark Empire Sourcebook that ultimately the Emperor was planning not only to consume the entire Galaxy but also other Galaxies.

All of the various hints from the early EU about the Cosmic War/Wars, that were obscure until the recent Supernatural Encounters revival.

There's a ton of borderline-lost Living Force and other Wizards online supplements from the early 2000s that have all kinds of obscure details. I still haven't been able to find the one that mentioned "Darth Bane's Tomb" in passing and no, it's not a false memory.

I don't have a picture of it on hand, but there's a Fox studio promo card from 1977 that outright says Star Wars takes place in the year 3000. This is Googleable.

...so much more that just doesn't come to mind at the moment. Two very rare promotional brochures for both of the Kotor games that include some backstory material. The one for K1 has enough on Pollard Seario that I'm convinced that he was going to be in the game and was cut fairly late.

My favorite piece of obscure lore is the Proto-Vader Warb Null:

Warb is Australia slang for dirty and Null of course is zero, amounting to nothing, or not a binding force. Which is intriguing since he is controlled by Sith Spirits in his enchanted armor he fashioned. Warb is a Sith living vessel and I think that is fascinating.

He was defeated by my favorite Jedi Ulic Qel Droma.

    - In Empire’s End, Vader has a throne on Korriban and Sheev says that the Dark Lords on Korriban “guided me (him) back to this life” after ROTJ.

    - The novelization of ROTJ says that the planet Endor no longer exists.

    - The lore surrouding Naga Sadow and the Dark Lords in Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith that was ignored in all subsequent media.

    - In Jedi Academy: Dark Apprentice, the holocron of Vodo-Siosk Baas says that Exar Kun was the first Dark Lord of the Sith and says he twisted the Jedi Code (making it sound like he wrote the Sith Code). In the same book, Luke has a nightmare in which the Massassi are green.

    - The Dark Empire endnotes say that lightsaber colors are determined by their “frequency”.

Woah someone else took his armor later? Epic!

    Edit:

So there was Warb Null (Shas Davos) and Malleus (Telloti Cillmam'n). I must make a note not to confuse them.

I suppose just everything Marvel had between the original films since I've yet to read all of them or even find them. The Nagai-Tof War in particular.

Thanks to WEG, Star Wars has alien races that are near-duplicates of the Klingons, the Borg, and the T-1000.

I thought you meant Iskalonians and got confused, although they are also multi-species assimilators.

The Battlefield Subjugation Floatie is my favorite vehicle in the Imperial Fleet.

I also love The Kaal Connection, an obscure 1995 RPG scenario that gave us not only the Emperor's Hand Jeng Droga who caught Palpatine's errant spirit after Endor and was driven mad by it, crashing the Emperor's private yacht into an ocean, but also Uther Kermen and Utoxx Prentioch, whose roles were much expanded by the Essential Atlas and the Essential Guide to Warfare later on.
