I'm obsessed with Anakin's Theme at the moment.

It really does embody the entire journey of Anakin throughout the prequels. It starts out optimistic and innocent when he's a child. It becomes more elegant towards the middle (Jedi Knighthood). Then, it descends for the rest of the piece to indicate his conflict and fall. The Imperial March closes it out.

It's a poetic and sad track. It's perfect.

Got the love the main title aka Star wars theme

 

A few of my very favorites:

From TESB, Rebel Fleet and End titles. End title music for Star Wars movies always suites of all the major leitmotifs throughout each film. This has the beautiful Love Theme, Yoda's theme and the Imperial March all rolled into one.

This utterly incredible music from the final TFA trailer. Just goddamn spine tingling.


Rey's Theme. Of course I gotta have the most memorable theme from TFA, and it is, after all, the theme of my favorite character.


The Throne Room music from ANH is suitably triumphant. More wonderful end titles.

 

Probably gotta go with Battle Of The Heros. But I dunno, so many good tracks of course.

The composition of that trailer music was fantastic wasn't it. If there was anything that was going to rouse massive interest in a new Star Wars trilogy, it was that trailer and the accompanying musical arrangement. The closing few seconds with the Star Wars theme is lovely. Wonderful trailer.

I can't stop listening to the epiv part this video lol. The best bit is Dodonna's deathstar mission briefing until the start of TESB. I really like Han and Chewie's singing in the Falcon too.

 

Meco's disco SW theme sums ups the late 70's pretty well if you weren't around for it.

 

This isn't technically a SW song, but it fits so well it has become one of my faves.

 

Two things - is there a good copy of Lapti Nek out there? the film version, not the one that was on the soundtrack CD. I love Sy's original scratchy voice

Also, I can not find a good version of "Trouble Again" from the DROIDS cartoon. My mother always liked that song.

 

I really wish they’d officially release some of the trailer music. The music in the Sequel Trilogy teasers and trailers has been stunning every single time. The Rise of Skywalker’s teaser trailer music literally brought me to tears.

 

Sums it up pretty well for those of us who remember it, too.
