Arena Federer/Nadal/Djokovic Era - Now 1/3rd Over

    Thiem takes the set 6-2. Djokovic seemed to have found his rhythm better those last two games, though, will be interesting to see how the 4th set starts. Djokovic has served first in all 4 sets.

    Novak ironclad in those last two sets. What a win. Hope Thiem will keep pushing forward. You don't see Djokovic get overpowered all that often.

    Will Thiem's win bounce Federer from third place? Maybe not quite. But he should pass Medvedev right? I should take the time to learn more about the system probably. Djokovic will be number one again for a bit at least...maybe? I'm just wallowing in my ignorance here.

    djokovic returns to number 1, that's all i know. think medvedev will probably stay where he is because most of his points to defend are at the end of the season.

    she had terrible luck with injuries through the years, and unfortunately has the ped label. in her prime, she was a powerhouse, and wonderful to watch.

    she's only 32, and has a solid business acumen already. hope she has a great second, third, fourth career.

    Maria's net worth is around $200 million.Comparison? Serena is worth around $180 million. Seems like yesterday I was watching the 2004 Wimbledon final at my cousin's July 4th party (which he held on the third that year since it the fourth was on a Sunday that year) and wondering who was the tall blonde teenager who was just kicking the crap out of Serena hitting the most insane baseline shots. She really seemed to be on the verge of being a true rival for Serena but as others mention injuries really derailed her career.
