And I did see Alan! I sat in on his Q & A session and got my photo with him!


The lines were absurd, but a good day none the less.
Also got Eve Myles' and Kai Owens' signatures.

 

That's so awesome, sounds like you had a great time. Alan's panel was great fun! Glad you got to meet him and got your photo with him.

I couldn't get over how packed it was, felt more crowded than last year (must have been the rain). The World of WETA panel with Daniel Falconer was great too, I enjoyed seeing how they went about designing the dwarves for the Hobbit. There's so many things I wanted to do and see but there wasn't enough time in the day to fit them all in. Would have loved to see Karl Urban, the Dwarves panel and the others.

Carrie Fisher's panel will be on Sunday (well, today now since it is early hours of the morning) scheduled at 2:20pm. Not to mention the 501st, Rebel Legion and StarWalking will be at Supanova too. For those that will going then, be sure to check it out and please let us know how it goes if you do.

So, it's been awhile since we've caught up, how're things with you? Got over the whole abomination that is Eps 1, 2 and 3 yet?

Looking forward to the Mouse House kicking off Eps 7, 8 and 9 plus whatever other awful single character movies they have planed.

 

WOW, good to see some familiar faces around here. It's been ages since I last logged in thought I'd hop on and take a peek. Might have to start hopping on a bit more often especially with Episode VII now in the works. Hope fully it will erase my memories of the Prequels, well at least Episodes I & II.

Things are going well, my studies have been keeping me occupied but the end is near, how about you? Got over the prequels and into The Clone Wars.

I'm doing the wait and see for the Sequel trilogy happening rather than jump to conclusions just yet. We all should see the new one when it comes out in 2015, be just like old times again.

 

Sounds good. I'm up for it, but I draw the line at a midnight release. Nice to see you as well MM!

 

Hmmmm, I'd be up for a midnight release. One of the advantages of shift work.

 

Depends on what is happening around that time, I might be available for a midnight opening as well as the day session.

Oh wouldn't mind going to see that.

 

Can't see it, crystal skulls will eat me.

I will most likely be making my annual pilgrimage to Supanova but I hadn't realised Oz Comic Con was expanding to Sydney. Very tempting with all the Stargate actors.

 

Agreed. I wish all of them will be coming to the Sydney event. On the OzComic Con site they mention a Stargate Dinner event is sold out and says Chris Judge/Teal'c, Jason Momoa/Ronan Dex and David Nykl/Dr Zelenka would be part of that.

 

Heads up! Stan Lee shall be coming to Supanova - Sydney!

 

Also updated the Saga Marathon with the latest news. All Hoyts cinemas are apparently going to screen the marathon. Just need the session times and ticket prices.
