FF-UK Midlands Discussion Thread

One thing I have noticed about the listings on the cinemas websites, VUE, Odeon, and Showcase have not got ROTS listed down between the 9th and the 16th, but then it's on again after the 16th...So, what's happening? Are they taking it down for just one week? Can't all the cinema chains decide on when to schedule the film during the 9th and the 16th?

EDIT: IGNORE THE ABOVE!!! THE FILM IS NOT BEING TAKEN DOWN AT ANY CINEMA!!! I've just checked the various websites, and the film is still being shown several times of the day...They have not changed their plans.

 

Mark, I think Vue usually posts showings up to 2 weeks in advance, I just found out this week that Odeon updates their site every Monday (giving a new full week starting on the Thursday in the same week) - I panicked lol cos I am meant to be going to Liverpool this weekend to see a mate and I thought Odeon in Liverpool weren't showing ROTS on Sat. So I emailed them to get a quick reply.

i did it on my mates dog and that worked lol

 

I tried it on my parents when I was a kid...I did the Luke Skywalker "You will take me to Disneyland now" routine, AND IT WORKED!!!

Hey, just a thought people - what about getting together for June 19th? There is a little tradition with American fans that kinda makes sense to me -- FAN DAY! The one month anniversary, where the fans who saw it together on opening night get back together one last time as a group.

I think that would be a good idea...it's on a weekend, a Sunday, so I'm sure lots of you guys can make it.

What'dya think?

19th is also fathers day, for those that had forgotten.

just found out i have to work sunday the 19th. the " but its fathers day " excuse didnt wash this year. i have to have some time with my younglings, but i can get there any time after 7. sorry if this throws things into chaos dudes. if necessary, i will have to make the next meet, but i would like to be in at the beginning!

 

If this is an evening showing, I should be able to make it
