FF-UK Trip to the TENCLO Premiere

V - I will most likely need a lift, so will Nat (just not sure where Nat is station landing).

 

car owners may need to make a couple of trips between Cranwell and Sleaford. As I say it's not far, but I'm sure that travellers would happily donate a bit to petrol, or at the very least buy you a drink in the evening

7 miles from Sleaford Station to the Premiere. 13 mins according to theaa.com

Lincoln station is 15 miles, and theaa claims it's 21 mins, but it's longer than that to get through the city centre

 

Yep - Petrol/drinks will definitely be something I'll be happy to donate to anyone who can help the walkers get to the premiere

 

Yep, I'll be up for shuttling a few people back and forth Oh, and Emma is now coming, she's booked her ticket directly through the website

I'd still like to go to this.. It's still the 9th right? I'd be another needing a lift though I'm afraid. I could get to Sleaford.. or Nottingham or Leicester would be even easier but yeah, wherever. If someone would be able to pick me up it'd be greatly appreciated

 

Hunky, if you can get to Leicester, then you can travel up with me and Emma. We'll sort out times and stuff closer to the event.

 

If Every one could try and get to Sleaford at the same time we can do a couple of shuttles, I dont mind that. Or if people can get to Nottingham we can pick them up en route

errrr can i just point out that i ordered my stuff thru the website and i have booked both a ticket and a room - so if you have been looking at the full list i am very worried about this

I had an email back a day after making my request which said I've been put on the ticket list.

So I guess i am going.

Interesting news about accommodation. What exactly are they offering? A bunk at the base?

i was told i had a ticket booked and was goin to after party and that i had a room.

told em i would send car registration details when i knew exactly how i was getting there

Those names were those who had asked me via PM. Daz told me that they were the names he had, but he hasn't been given the names who booked via the site.

If you book via the site, you will get confirmation. If you don't, then cause a fuss LOL.

No idea what the accommodation is like. My advice is to drink lots so you won't care

Accom is a number of single rooms with a single bed and some floor space. The RAF charge is £5 per room. If you share 2 to a room, then obviously it is cheaper!

Hal needs confirmation of names by 25 Aug (the RAF has set the deadline) If you are just coming to the premiere and NOT the after-show party then you can simply turn up on the night.

Erm, was about to book train tickets when I thought of something. What time should I be there? (at the station I mean) to have plenty of time for pickup etc?

 

Pre show drinks are at 7pm. Film starts at 8pm. Party goes on til....well no idea

I will be very busy during the day sorting stuff out, and won't be around much until that time. I will have my mobile with me, but reception is very bad in Cranwell.
