FFUK: North by North-East Monthly Curry meets [UPDATE! Sie's Bday Curry, Bp Auckland, 15/16th June]

Well, if you guys are at the Wirral, and others will be at Download Festival, I could reschedule it to the week after my birthday (weekend beginning 15th June) and go for a curry then, and then maybe a few drinks down town or go back to my place for a bit and hang?

 

As long as your happy to do so Sie I know I should be free the week of the 15th.

It's getting a bit confusing what we are doing when. Coz - are gonna attend the 99th thing - we'd need Nici to pick us up from a nearby station, we can't get to the actual event supposedly via public transport (I'll check up on that).

(2) Durham meet
(3) I'll be doing a Scotland meet - one of the FF-UK Scotland asked about it being on 16/17.

So where do we stand? I'd try and make as much as I can, I just hope a big North meet doesn't clash with Scotland one, I really want to do both.

 

I'm not sure I can make it for two meets, I'll try to make it for Sie's B'day though we could do the two meets in one.

 

You've also got 30th June/1st July - though I can't make that weekend...or the 23rd one...sorry guys - any events on the other three weekends i'll try to make it to!

 

Aye, wasn't sure if we were getting too close to CE with that other weekend, but it's there if people say so.

Well so far the 16th has proven popular with North (and Scotland lol) but I can ask in Scotland can I do that the weekend after.

And yep Coz, totally agree - do we combine Sie's and Durham (that should mainly be down to Sie as it's his day) or do we leave Durham to another month?

But Durham is something we can plan for July/August and we still get a nice summer day out.

I'll send you the word doc version I had been working on before I stepped down Coz, that one was a bit elaborate, but all we need is something like above so we know definite weekends when people will be busy and meets can't happen.

 

I know, June is turning out to be a busy month for us. It will help since it's not good to have too much on before CE.

OK Guys. I want to have an FFUK birthday curry, (I'll be doing a BBQ probably with my other mates), and the best time I think would be the weekend beginning Friday 15th June (can accept 16th June Sat Nite too). There's a fairly decent Indian restaurant in Bishop called The Raj, and I'm fine with eating there, but the best Indian food in the vicinity is The Spice Island in Shildon. Might be slightly more pricey, but the food would be better quality. I'm kinda fine either way, really. Only issue with the Shildon run is transport from Bishop to Shildon and back (there is the option of a bus).

Anyway, over to you guys.

Would never be able to do the 15th anyways, since I'm in work till 5pm and it takes about 3 hours to get to your neck of the woods. I think I'll drop getting to this and wait for the Durham meet, not sure I can afford to come up just for a curry in the evening. Sorry Sie
