My guess, rocker #3 are the 'little people' mentioned in puzzle wood filming. Perhaps not their final names though

My youngest daughter is Named Kira. Yes, after the STS9 character. She will be thrilled if this is true

And I'm total happy with that name for Daisy if it ends up being correct. Nice to at least have a possible character name finally.

 

Maybe a smart watch, or something else that isn't obviously a camera phone? I imagine having a camera phone out on set is frowned upon.

EDIT: As for the little people, I wonder if Kenny Baker was filming with them. Maybe they have a character other than R2-D2 for him to play.

 

Aren't the little people most likely to be Jawas on the Tatooine set?

 

This was for the Puzzlewood set, though. - not Tattooine.

 

Hopefully there is a role for guys like Warwick Davis and Deep Roy.

 

How did I miss the little people discussion? Does someone have a link to this?

Well, Kira it is!! I like it. For those of you, still hung up on Jaina:

 

The Expanded Universe is extinct, it's fire has gone out in the universe. TFNer's are that are left of that religion.

 

The "little people" are most likely something new.

Kira is a great name, but it could be a decoy. No way of knowing yet.

As far as filming goes, they only filmed in Puzzlewood for 4 days? That doesn't seem like it will be a huge location-maybe one scene/event like the Magic Tree in ESB.

 

So little people....in a forest...and their names are "rockers". Are we sure that this isn't the live action version of Frozen

 

Rockers are from the deepest, darkest recesses of the EU. A comic book based on the Ewoks cartoon. They looked like boulders and could tunnel underground. I'm sure that's what DarthSimon was referring to when he said "The creature name does chime with a known thing. But it does make me suspicious about whether it's a false trail, or one of the things in VII."



There are a lot of rocks in that Puzzlewood forest. Imagine them covered in camouflaging moss.

 

I really love the look of that place. If you really think about it we haven't had such a fantasy-heavy location in Star Wars yet. Looks like something straight out of LOTR or Harry Potter. I approve.

 

The Force never bothered me anyway...

 

Here's some wild speculation for you:

They're filming in a forest where there are rocks, and a sign mentioned 'rockers'. We know that GL was highly influenced by the Flash Gordon serials and in Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe there were the Rock Men, who disguised themselves amongst rocks in order to hide. And GL already had a slight homage to that in Ep II when the hidden Geonosians come out of their alcoves to attack Padme and Anakin as they enter the droid factory. So maybe JJ and LK have come up with some type of characters that live and hide amongst rocks? Somehow I doubt it, yet they could be looking at the same types of things that inspired GL and using them in some way.

 

If you want to know who the little people are, read 1Q84 it is the best novel ever.
