    The Trailer

There is no fanfare, no build-up, no music.

Just a sudden scene, of a battle, and smoke, clearly gone wrong.

Coughing in the debris, mopping blood from his fringe a figure drags himself back to his feet. The Regalia is overturned, what appears to be the Shera forming the backdrop of rubble, but Vaan pays both no heed. His concentration is solely upon the foe before him -

The fireball, which seems an indistinct foe in the distance, though there is a sound of movement -

He reaches for the ground, for a weapon in the debris-covered floor, in the body draped ground, and a clatter of metal announces that he has a blade; he draws it, slashing up and through a shadow as it leaps for him. The crystal-blue sword - the Brotherhood - glistens for a moment, and then another shadow leaps upon Vaan, and another. Their shapes are indistinct, and there is a blaze of electricity as the creatures are driven off -

He looks up, sees Lightning peering back at the enemy, a mere silhouette against the back-drop. She releases a grunt as she is driven aside by another amorphous shadow with bulbous eyes, and Vaan glances back to an oversized, fiery blade slamming the Brotherhood from his hands. Wincing, he staggers back, trips over a form upon the floor -

The boot of Vivi protrudes from under a rock, and Vaan rolls back, jumping back, but is hit by a burst of flame as he leaps up, sent flying to the ground, skidding up beside Squall, who is breathing heavily, trying to pass Vaan his gunblade -

There is a another eruption, and Squall shouts out a silent warning -

    The screen goes dark.

It flashes for a moment, as the flame erupts across the entire moment.

    Only one thing is seen.

    A single black feather.

    The screen fades to again.

    A woman's voice sounds out.

"We were supposed to meet in peace."

    A male voice.

"What happens now, it will change everything."

    They both speak.

    "Twilight eternity."
