Watching someone open the gift you get them is half the fun. I always open gifts people give me in front of them (when I can). I got my brother a pair of TARDIS footie pajamas for Christmas and I can't wait for him to open them. On the topic of people I don't get: I've agreed to this stupid 50th anniversary for the step-grandparents, mostly because I can back out at the last minute if I need to (*looks at to-do list for this week and cries*). But the daughter who is planning it (the one that really doesn't like me) is getting a fancy limo to pick everyone up... all so that we can go back to her house and order Chinese food. So I have to shave my legs, all so I can not go out for dinner. Whut? This is YOUR PARENTS' 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! But, hey, it's not my grandparents. On one hand, free food is free food. On the other, I could not deal with condescending stupid people, order my own Chinese food and eat it in my pajamas.
