first costume, mon calamari jedi

hello everyone, just joined up to get into the costuming section to get and share ideas. just started getting into the convention scene and made my first costume. thought i would show it off. this is my first and only costume at the moment. i bought most of the props and mask, but the clothing is home made. i'll probably replace a few things with home made parts as time goes on. here are the pics from the last comicpalooza in houston.

you can see i had a problem with the eyes fogging up. i eventually fixed it.


no idea who the mop is

my mother is in this pic with me, she was the one who decided we should dress up for the next con, i of course went overboard.

this last one was taken at a local comic book store staging a cosplay costume contest for publicity. i didn't enter but they decided to enter for me. i didn't know till i won. i had fixed the problem with the eye's fogging up
