Flash Gordon-Sci Fi

Any one see this ....travesty of a show.I turned it off after 22 minutes.P.U!Ming looked like some one from BattleStar Gallactica.Dale Arden was some sort of cop.The lead looked like the star of the 1980 junker film.Curious to know other thoughts.TV critics were almost unanimous..it is a tur...turkey.I am trying to be proper and nice.

 

I was going to watch it, but I expected this to happen, so I didn't.

As for the new show... Can't honestly say I'm surprized.
Will wait for the DVDs so I can laugh at them propperly.
Just starting on Firefly, so I'm a little behind on my SF TV shows...

 

I really wanted to like this. I love the old serials, and the 80's version. Thanks to Battlestar Galactica, I'm completely open to new interpretations of classic characters. Unfortunately, this show stinks. I don't think I'll need to even watch any more episodes to get a better idea about it...the pilot was just that awful. Oddly enough, my wife (who is relatively new to sci-fi) thought it was pretty good. Does anyone else like it? I honestly have nothing positive to say about it.

I didn't have high expectations.

Not good stuff...then I decided to interpret it as a parody/comedy. I minorly enjoyed it after that. The fact that I could laugh at it might get me to try turning it back on in a week or two to see if it's changed at all.
