To this day, the Inexpungable-class command ship is one of my favorite EU designs, hands down. It was perfectly unique and matched the design styles established in the first KOTOR on what a Republic capital ship should look like. Fractal made a true beauty with that one!

I kind of head canoned the Inexpungible Class as the Pelagia Star from the Tapani sector book.

 

I love the Inexpungable, shame it saw so little usage though. I think it was only like 8 of them ever produced?

 

IIRC, there were only six produced. Of which only the Swiftsure made it to the end of the series.

I wonder if there'd have been a resurgence of them in the future. The OR would've just stuck with the Centurions as command ships, but I feel like the Inexpungables have a good role as a starfighter carrier and maybe even a freighter, as it looks like the Lucrehulk was based on it.

 

I don't dislike it. It's just a very different look, it will probably grow on me. I just think that they could have gone a bit more original with the upgrades. A bubble canopy would have given an obvious upgraded look, like how everyone can tell the difference between a P-51B and P-51D.

 

Sadly I imagine Inexpugnables remained part of history. Vessels like the Centurion clearly became the standard.

Good Lord, in just over a month we'll be watching TLJ, plus we'll be up to our eyeballs with visual guides, reference guides, and cross sections of all these new capital ships and starfighters. What a great time to be a Fleet Junkie.

speaking of fleet junkies....did anyone ever get the rebels files book that came out recently?

 

Sadly no... in other news.

Either my eyes or playing tricks on me, or the last Battlefront II campaign walk-through footage I saw has what looks a lot like a Nebula-class Star Destroyer among the New Republic ships.

Looks to me like the Raider Class Corvette - but with a major engine refit.

Very sad and dissapointed that the StarHawks and the Raddus were not shown at the Battle of Jakku in Battlefront 2, although dozens of MC-80's can be seen everywhere, no Home One class's either. They were mentioned and did provide Orbital fire Support however
