Which pen? Mabye I can poke fun at him...
Where else do you all suggest for places to visit?
I don't live in the UK, so I wouldn't be of much help.
*Hides in the background.*
How about this. What other comic book places are around, and easy acess by the underground? Also, that isn't as expensive as Forbiden Planet.. expensive place it is.. at least via the computer.
i always wanted to visit Madame Tussaud's (sp?) personally!!
Sounds.. familier... *checks london tube guide* Nope.. I forget where I saw that name now...
Question, why isn't there a Irish Fanforce?
There's mainly only me and a few other irish posts from time to time. the rest have more sense . there was a Northern Ireland board but it was deleted cuz nothing was happening. it doesnt really bother me- as long as i can post and annoy other posters i'm happy!
That's charming......i don't bite!!!
Madame Tussards is by Baker St station, along with the London PLanetarium - both good, but quite pricey. NOTHING is cheap in London - even Londoners can't really afford to go out drinking in London.
London Zoo in Regents Park is good, if you get a nice day. The London Eye opposite the Houses of Parliament (Westminster or Waterloo) as suggested is good - again if its a clear day.
There are loads of museums: the Natural History and Science in South Kensington; theres the Victoria and Albert Museum just down the road.
Shaddup TK, you'll give me an even worse reputation than i already have!
To bad about the Ireland board being Shut Down.. it would have been nice to chat there a bit.
Today I'm most likly just going to go shopping down Oxford St. Expensive, right?
I have a yahoo album up if anyone would care to see it.. yet why would you, you live here anyway!
Well.. [link=http://photos.yahoo.com/tj_yasie]Here it is anyway[/link]
I love it here, I really do! I must say you all are absultly Lucky to live in such a beautiful country.
Must be off! Will chat again later!
Oxford street isn't expensive, it's main street stores really.
Main street... hmm... which main street?
Sorry I'll rephrase it.
The stores on Oxford street aren't designer clothes stores. They are average prices.
Ahh.. alright. Anyone know where some good gothic/rocker type stores are in london then. I have some frieds in Canada that insisted that I go there and pick somthing up for them...
ermm not quite sure but possably Camden as I think I have seen a few stores like that around the Camden Market area
I must say you all are absultly Lucky to live in such a beautiful country.
London is over-rated. If you really want to see a beautiful country then you've gotta leave the smoke behind. It is dirty, over-crowded, and expensive.
Well, where I'm staying it's just outside London.. uh.. in Zone 4 I think.
I get off at Ealing Broadway to get to the house.. then take a bus. I suppose I would call it London's Boonies.
It is very beautiful here.
London itself is very industrealised, yet I like it. I suppose you have to live somewhere else to enjoy it.
Ahh.. Camden Market Area.. which Tube stop might that be at? I'll ask my dad's girlfriend.. yet I might try and get out there today...
LOL. Well, that W. London area is not too bad - bit more leafy than most of London (and about 5 miles outside it!) Not a day goes by now, though, that I thank the maker that I don't have to work in Central London.
CAMDEN! If you get chance you've simply got to go there. Head down towards Camden Stables for the best shops, namely...
Camden Town - Northern Line (the BLACK ONE) Groooooaaaaaawwwrrrrrrr!
Camden Town it's on the northern line
btw had a look at your photos, very nice
If there's one Underground line I know the colour of... it's the Northern Line
