ST Force Ghosts in IX

Agreed. LFL will never recast a character, simply cos they think a certain percentage of the fans disliked the actor.

 

IMO the only FG that must be in IX is Luke: he has to connect one last time with Rey and he promised Kylo.

The third lesson was supposed to be lifting rocks and Rey gave it to herself.

 

What's the possibility of a Leia Force ghost?

 

I want force ghosts galore. I want Anakin, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Leia, Luke, and Yoda. We probably won't get Yoda again, but it would be cool.

 

Qui-Gon can only appear with his voice because he never fully completed the training. He could appear to Obi-Wan on Mortis though because that place was really strong in the force.

 

I would count that as already being a force ghost and Qui-Gon taught Obi-Wan how to force ghost.

 

Pretty sure that's not a difficult thing to get around.

 

Lord of the Rings: Aragorn seeks out the Army of the Dead to finish the epic war against Sauron.

Episode IX: Rey seeks out the Force Ghosts to finish the epic war against the First Order. We all saw what Yoda is capable of in TLJ.

 

I can't tell if you're just joking. The Dead Men of Dunharrow were cursed for breaking an oath. They answered Aragorn's summon because he was the last of Isildur's line and aiding him was literally the only way their curse could be lifted.

Becoming a FG is a hard skill to master, its optional. More of a privilege than a curse. They would fight in a war now following Rey because...?

Because it's EP IX. Why else?

Wouldn't it be epic to see Anakin, Kenobi, Qui-Gon, Luke and Yoda crush Star Destroyers? This would also give Rey something productive to do.

I think Anakin force ghost is an imperative. IMO, the last moments of ROTJ were essentially telling the audience that Luke was going to finally be able to have some kind of future with his father, who was finally good. I can understand someone arguing that wasn't the point. To me, it was partially the point, as it needs to be followed up on.

 

Can Force Ghosts be seen by non-Force Sensitives?

 

While I suspect we'll only see Luke, it would be quite something if there was a netherworld of the Force sequence in which we'd perhaps see Luke, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, Qui-Gon, and possibly Leia?

 

My theory is that Luke as a Ghost will be visible to non-Jedi/non-Force Users, yes.
Just like he was visible to all (including droids) as a Force Projection, I think he will be visible by all as a spirit. Allusions to a resurrected Christ, etc, and better option for Luke to be a true symbol of the Jedi and Resistance if all can see and hear him, not just Rey.

I think Luke's FG will be different and more "evolved" than the others we've seen before. I think Luke will be completely opaque, and look like he's there with everyone in the scene, and not translucent or with blue haze around him either--except maybe some type of effect when he appears and disappears, but not when he's standing there or walking around talking with Rey, etc.

That'll set Luke apart as most powerful, IMHO.

I know in the other films FG's have only been visible to FS's.

I hope your theory on FG Luke is correct. I like it.

Crowds thinking him long dead, and then he is amongst them glowing and full of wisdom.

I'm not sure I actually want that. Dangerous territory. But it's possible.

A Qui-Gon Jinn Force ghost as possible we did see in the cartoons but however I think for the sake of the movie they will not do it..... right now we don't even know if there's going to be a force ghost of Anakin which to me is imperative it's a if it's going to be the end of the Skywalker Saga.... do not see a force ghost Anakin Skywalker and have him play a major role in The Saga ending would nullified Anakin Skywalker Darth Vader story
